NEW MONCHENGLADBACH BLOW

CELTIC’S Champions League rivals Borussia Monchengladbach have suffered another injury setback ahead on Wednesday’s Parkhead showdown.

Star defender Andreas Christensen has been ruled out of the trip and will be missing when the Bundesliga outfit jet into Glasgow tomorrow.
The £20million-rated Dane, an international team-mate of Erik Sviatchenko, sustained a muscle injury during the weekend’s scoreless home draw against SV Hamburg.
Coach Andre Schubert already fears being without three key strikers to face the Hoops with injured trio Raffael, Josip Drmic and Thorgan Hazard all struggling badly.
Christensen, reportedly a target for Barcelona, has played every minute of Monchengladbach’s 11 competitive games this season and four full games for his country.

But the 20-year-old – on a two-year loan deal from Chelsea – will be forced to take a break and his injury is a huge blow for the Germans.
