Yesterday’s extraordinary outburst by Newco chairman (and bus provider to Celtic) Douglas Park, calling for the suspension of SPFL chief exec Neil Doncaster, and solicitor, Rod McKenzie looks like achieving nothing more than making the most bitter people in the land even more acutely afflicted. Dundee failed to get their vote through on time, then asked the SPFL for time to reconsider their decision.
Be under no illusion, Newco’s objective, is not to finish the season on the field of play, it is to have the entire league campaign scrubbed from the record books. They failed to win the League Cup Final, lost to Hearts in the Scottish Cup and fell apart in the league after the winter break. They do not want Celtic to win the league if the season is called now and they do not want the season continued into what should be next season’s calendar.
They cannot stop Celtic on the field of play so they want to try to do so through a scorched earth policy that could burn the Scottish game to the ground. No one knows more than Douglas Park what lies ahead for Newco, bringing the entire edifice of the game in Scotland down with them, may make the pill less bitter.
This is a dysfunctional football club that is using its significant media influence in an attempt to subvert the football authorities. The country has enough paranoid fans prepared to fantasise like this, we cannot have our game controlled in this manner. We cannot have our game hijacked by a dysfunctional club that survives on media influence and has never make an operational profit in its existence.

Something almost as weird as Sevco going on with CQN .Every time I refresh the page , the comments are almost all replaced by adverts even though my adblocker is showing 74 ads blocked!??
Sorry , in the time it’s taken me to type this it’ gone up to 102 and rising!
Mr Maclennan, a media man, not taking Parks nonsense
Wonder who will win the media truth spat ????
Blair discredited in court recently, still peddling a different version from what FtSPFL has issued
With FtSPFL, clearly stating the resolution was delayed to allow Sevco time to come up with an alternative, this included offering the services FtSPFL Lawyer, and giving Sevco CEO the me to get his paymasters agreement – wonder who that was Park or King or Blair ??
Hurry up and keel over Sevco please

As it’s Easter Sunday it’s appropriate to use duckduckgo
Sorry it’s chicks at Easter – but use it anyway.
I’d put confit duck in my top ten favourite flavours
Thanks ghuys . Just trying to keep up with Sevco’s biting of the hand which formerly fed them.

Hi B, hope all is safe and well with all the family
Not long for you to be Grandpa again – this time a definite wee Bhoy 🙏👍👍
Just in response to the farmers
I do Not work for the Dairy side, I head up the packaging for their products
So 3 weeks ago at height of the panic buying
We filled 57 million litres of milk ( the packaging made obviously drastically increased) instead of the usual 45 million litres
2 weeks ago we filled 52 million litres still 7 million ahead of standard
Last week 48 million litres
This weekend it’s Easter and many large stores shut in England, we have orders for 44 million litres of milk, from our customers
So the Dairy industry that supplies us we’re informed we could not take 1 million litres through the weekend
This hits national news from the poor farmers
Nothing about the additional 22 million litres filled in past 3 weeks
And we are only 1 of the players in this market
Just shows how the media can be manipulated to suit an agenda
It’s a blue crayon for the statements ,until there is something that needs highlighting, then they bring out the big orange wan😜
Thought things would be borin with no football for the foreseeable
They are makin it all so entertaining
😂
PS – that was our UK figures – Not Scotland
Scotland figures over past 3 weeks are up

With all these nonsensical statements coming out of the bigotdome makes you wonder if they know the are doomed and nothing is going to save them. Which would be nice😂😂
Whatever comes out next from all of this we absolutely MUST stop giving Parks of Hamilton business and money by using their fleet as our team bus……
I’ve never fully understood our logic on this and unless we get for “nothing” and it’s a sponsorship type of deal / package ( which only serves to promote Parks ) then we need to disassociate ourselves from this operation.
Hail….Hail…..and Happy Easter to all on the board 👍🏴🍀
I am always pleasantly surprised by the followers of follow follow….

Thanks.
don’t mess about, get your duck from St Bride’s farm
support local producers.
And it is exceptional
Thank you CQN. One of life’s “go to” stops for this old Glaswegian living far from home.
I’ll write this again. It’s timeless.
In 2012 Scottish football had a chance to clean house.
It chose not to do so.
You reap what you sow.

Yip , and nobody will stop me taking him to PARKHEAD to see the Mighty HOOPS:)))
Already got the Hooped onesies in ……….DRAT , that just brought back a horrible memory of ACGR’s in his ……shhhudders.. :))
I mentioned the farmers because it showed them flushing away (due to lack of orders) their excess milk straight down the drains. The influence of news on tv is POWERFUL….
If the SPFL can lend money anyway as the Huns claim, why did they not apply for one instead of trying to pretend they were acting in the interest of other clubs who could apply for a loan on their own if they wished.
MADREBMACS GRANDPA,
welcome on board, are you a hun ??

Seemed to me they all had caps on and woodbines hingin fae thur gub
Ron..,
I remember as part of the Res12 research I found the SFA’s article’s of association which clearly stated they had the power to cover clubs debts, I’m now wondering if I misinterpreted it or if the rotten mob have already used that avenue and not paid back the debt.
At a time with not much to do except send emails, read books, make meals, etc., I forgot to come on here earlier to wish Paul 67 and family and all of you a very Happy Easter. Encouraged today by Pope’s Message to the city and the world. Although he spoke of the difficulties facing the world, he reminded us of a need to be less selfish and to be ready reach out to others in need.
This morning you were all in my thoughts and prayers at Mass.
MADREBMACS GRANDPA
Welcome aboard.HH
MARSPAPA,
That was probably when only choice of beer was Heavy or Light
Piece of info I found out from the Forfar Chairman’s appearance yestetday on Sportsound is that they would only receive around £3700 in prize money (balance remaining on total prize money of around £72k). His main motive was not financial but more certainty that season was over for them and they could plan, as far as is possible in current climate, for when football restarts in new season, I.e. release players, budget accordingly for the teams they are likely to be in same division as etc, etc.
