KIERAN TIERNEY’S season has been extended beyond Arsenal’s final Premier League match of the season at Southampton on Sunday.
The Celtic-bound left-back has been called into manager Steve Clarke’s squad for Scotland’s friendlies against Iceland and Liechtenstein next month.
Tierney is due to return to Parkhead after an absence of six years, but he will now have two international outings to face before he teams up again with Brendan Rodgers at the champions.
Anthony Ralston has also been given the nod for the double-header that sees the Scots take on the Icelanders at Hampden on Friday June 6 and then away three days later.
