BRENDAN RODGERS has left Marvin Compper, Scott Allan and Australian World Cup winger Daniel Arzani out of his Europa League squad.

The Hoops boss has finalised his plans for the group games against Salzburg, RB Leipzig and Rosenborg – and there is no place for the £1.3million German central defender who has played a mere 83 minutes since arriving in January.

Midfielder Allan, who had loan spells at Dundee and Hibs last season, has also been overlooked and on-loan Manchester City teenager will miss out on the European action, too.

Compper looked to be on his way in this month’s transfer window, but there were no takers for the 33-year-old defender who has been jinxed by injury since arriving from RB Leipzig.

There are places for new recruits Lewis Morgan, Emilio Izaguirre, Youssuf Mulumbu and Filip Benkovic.

The full squad:

Goalkeepers: Craig Gordon, Scott Bain

Defenders: Mikael Lustig, Kieran Tierney, Cristian Gamboa, Emilio Izaguirre, Jack Hendry, Jozo Simunovic, Dedryck Boyata, Filip Benkovic, Kristoffer Ajer, Anthony Ralston

Midfielders: Scott Brown, Scott Sinclair, Lewis Morgan, Tom Rogic, Olivier Ntcham, Youssuf Mulumbu, Callum McGregor, James Forrest, Eboue Kouassi

Forwards: Odsonne Edouard, Leigh Griffiths, Ryan Christie, Jonny Hayes, Mikey Johnston
