NO LIVE TV FOR CELTIC v JAGS

HOLDERS Celtic have been overlooked for live television coverage by BT Sport when they play Partick Thistle in their Betfred League Cup quarter-final next month.

The Hoops, looking for their fourth successive triumph in the competition, will face Gary Caldwell’s Championship outfit at Parkhead on Wednesday, September 25.

Unusually, all four last-eight ties are scheduled for the same evening and the cameras will be at Livingston when Steven Gerrard’s men visit a ground where they had problems last season.

BT also covered the Ibrox side’s game in the tournament at East Fife on Sunday.

The all-Premiership encounters between Hearts v Aberdeen and Kilmarnock v Hibs will also be played in the midweek slot and all games will have 7.45pm kick-offs.

As well as showing the match at New Bayview at the weekend, BT Sport beamed live the Motherwell v Hearts tie at Fir Park on Friday night with Craig Levein’s men winning 2-1.
