didn’t think I’d get so close to the top!
Over the past weeks and months I have noted a number fellow fans and posters protesting and hand wringing at the prospect of Newco Rangers being admitted into next seasons SPL. My concious reaction to this has been one of derision, I’ll be honest. ‘Drama queens,’ is a phrase that has came into my mind on more than one occasion although I have shared their contempt at the actions of RFC(IA) over the last 10/20 years.
Without realising though, over the last few days my excitement at their demise has subsided considerably and the grinding inevitability of Govan Dodgers being admitted to the top flight next term is setting in. Listening to Clyde just now and at least 2 of the panel within 2 mins of me tuning in have stated in a ‘matter of fact nature’ that ‘I mean obviously Rangers will be in the SPL next season… We know that etc..’
Without even realising it I am now beginning to slowly lose interest in the upcoming season. It pains me to think this way but I don’t think my heart will be in it. No loud protesting or posturing or cancelling the season ticket with accompanying letter…. Just sickened with the way this mob are slowly but surley wriggling away from the carnage they have inflicted upon the Scottish game and as sure as night follows day being given a free pass to come back guilt free, unrepentant and unscathed. Sickening.. Absolutely sickening.

They better not have and punish them properly for years of cheating , If not the shareholders of Celtic will go to court on this for damaging their investment returns, and I say this because no-one other than us cares about sporting integrity.

Just listened to both the BBC’S AND Alex Thompsons interviews with the guy from Duff and Phelps,,,,have to say the BBC’s interview was a disgrace,no pushing for answers to real questions quite happy to accept everything they are told!!
Compare that to Alex Thompson’s interview where he didnt just accept what Duff and Phelps was saying he picked holes in there strategy left right and centre,come the end of the interview the guy was a gibbering wreck!!
This mob have no shame at all,,,quite happy to shaft everyone and move on without so much as saying sorry,,,let them die,sooner rather than later!!!

Can the creditors do anything about that? Will they?
In the event of a Liquidation (by name or by form) they can. the gist of it is that if a creditor feels they are worse off because all of the good assets have been hived off then they can bring a claim.
It may also lead to criminal charges against Miller.

Due to complete lack of transparency it is never quite clear who drafts the proposals to be put before either the SPL board or even its members. If necessary Celtic need to be able to offer an alternative. This would involve winding up the SPL itself, creating a new league of 17 teams for 2012-13, and would simply not admit any club previously known as or pretending to be Rangers FC. The actions of the Administrators are irrelevant in these circumstances, as indeed are any companies created by Bill Miller, or whichever scheister gains control of the assets of Rangers PLC. In this scenario any new club would need to do what all new clubs need to do, find themselves a league to play in!

They are a plague on society, and have been sucking the life blood out of this ‘sport’ for a great number of years now. The cheating, along with everything else, has gone too far, way too far.
I am sure they do have decent supporters, but this isnt even about them, if the duel contracts, EBT’s are proved, then, the maximum punishment must be given out. For circa 20 years, they have cheated us all, thats not just Celtic fans, but Football fans, not even just in Scotland, but in Europe!
Relegation to the 3rd division, would be a let off. There is no making up for that. For letting this happen the SFA needs an overhaul. Those involved in high positions at Rangers, need life time bans from Sport in this and every country. This situation cannot be fixed, so much time, emotion and money has been spent by good supporters, from all sides, to watch rigged contests.
This can never happen again, if football in this country is to survive, the sanctions handed out, must be so harsh, so hard, that no one would even consider doing anything like this ever again. As well as putting some more regulations to stop it happening, of course, should anyone still try.
Those ‘footballers’ and anyone else who took EBT’s, need to pay that money back. It should either go to the taxes, or back into Scottish Football. Murray also needs to pay up. There should be criminal charges being brought forward. Because thats what they are, criminals.
