I’m disappointed re. Sinclair , as it looks is as if he is being frozen out. This is unfair considering what he has contributed to the team over the last 3 years.
Morgan before Sinclair , I don’t think so

I wouldn`t say he has been ` frozen out`. Modern football is a squad game. It is also , for professionals, an unsentimental game. What Sinky has contributed no longer counts. Anyway, if he isn`t transferred, I fully expect himt to play a significant part in the coming season.

Different managers have different beliefs in what a certain position entails.
Sinclair regularly drifts inside, and becomes a secondary striker. Hence the goals tally. That is the way Rodgers liked his wide players to operate. In doing so, he added goals to James Forrest’s game also.
Rightly or wrongly, Neil Lennon prefers his wingers to stay wide, and contribute with a higher input of crosses.
CelticByNumbers on twitter provided an interesting analysis of Morgan from the home leg. He fired in 12 crosses during his time on the pitch. 2 of which reached a Celtic player.
It is subjective whether you prefer Rodgers or Lennon’s deployment of wide players. But in short, Lennon likes Morgan, because he stays wide, and crosses a lot.
Which means the other 10 crosses went to the opposition.
If Morgan is the future , I think we can forget C.L

I liked Morgan s crosses….once forwards realise. Ball is coming in quickly then they will attack front post more often…..ND I think in most occasions ball was half cleared and we regained possession..

There is certainly an argument that that percentage level of successful cross completion, is poor.
(I’ll add separately, that I am not a Morgan fan. Don’t think he is physically strong enough or quick enough to take on the full-back and get by him.)
However his crossing stats are scewed I believe, and where I cut him some slack, is that I don’t believe Edouard is the type of striker to go attacking aerial crosses. He creates a lot of his opportunities from link up play around the edge of the box. Or will generate his own opportunities by taking defenders on.
In which nation would the league association organise a photoshoot of captains advertising their league, when the holders were out of the country?

It seems the inclusion of young Ralston at RB is causing a few folk to require fresh pampers. I , for one don’t think he’ll let us down tonight.

Hope it ain’t true but heard a rumour that Lenny & Bain were not getting on. I put it down as usual shite which it probably is but must admit when I read the team sheet, it put a small doubt in my mind. That and us signing the young Keeper last week.
Anyhow concentration on the game, tonight could be huge for young Ralston. He has been more or less written off by the majority of the Celtic Support, he needs a few big performances to prove he belongs in first team squad, there is no doubting his bravery & commitment I’m really rooting for him tonight.

I’ve not heard of any fallout however I do think Gordon will reclaim the No1 spot this season because he’s a better keeper than Bain

I don’t see him flinging his heid on to things.
Morgan and Sinclair is a comparison of apples and pairs IMO completely different type of player, the only similarity is they both start wide.
Apples n Pears for the record CSC 👍
Any word if Fred C. Dodds is tucked up in the caboose of the Trans-Siberian express as it hurtles its way into White Russia?
BSR
Another similarity is that Morgan sings and Sinky disney……….or something.
is there any dodgy links going on, and not🍴 that kind😱
