    Job done with minimum of fuss. Thought N’tcham was excellent, Bitton & Boli not too far behind,

     

    I like Boli a lot, I think he will do well for us. Julien looked composed but will need harder tests to prove his mettle. Overall very happy bring on the Cluj.

    Q3 is the step up and Cluj have edged past two capable teams in Astana and Tel-Aviv so we can’t take them lightly.

     

     

    ‘Twas this time last season that things unraveled on and off the pitch, taking months to get it out of our system. Concentration Celtic, it’s all there for us.

    just hope we haven’t bought 2 pigs in a poke with july anne and boli boli ,early days but not impressed so far.

    Be interesting to see what defensive combination Lenny goes with on Saturday and in the Cluj games. There were a few hesitant moments tonight with guys obviously not yet used to playing together . Will it be Ajer and Jullien in the middle ? Boli looks to be settling in nicely at LB. Will we see Hatem at RB as Ralston still seems a bit raw around the edges?

     

    I don’t think we have any worries in midfield or upfront with Ntcham seeming to be over his ‘huff’ , imperious Broonie , Bitton Christie and McGregor. Up front we surely can’t be as profligate in front of goal as we were tonight and in Shved we look like we have a real star.

    We played some lovely stuff tonight. Limited opposition, but we are still in pre-season so the signs are good.

     

     

    There’s an urgency there these days that I really like.
