CELTIC’S hopes of signing Norway superkid Martin Odegaard have been scuppered.
The 16-year-old midfielder has just agreed to join Real Madrid in a £80,000-a-week deal.
Hoops boss Ronny Deila wanted the teenage international to move to Parkhead after handing him his debut at Stromsgodset.
But he couldn’t compete with the allure of Real who have beaten off the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester United and Ajax to sign the youngster.
