‘NOW FOR TEN-IN-A-ROW,’ SAYS JOZO

JOZO SIMUNOVIC put the pain of the PSG pummelling behind him to celebrate signing the new deal that will keep him at Celtic until 2021 at least.

The 23-year-old central defender said: “I am very happy about the extension because it shows the club believe in me.

“I always go day by day although the contract is for four more years. I hope we will be champions for the next four years and also continue to make progress in the Champions League.

“It would be really good if that [10-in-a-row] happens.”

Looking back at the 5-0 loss against the world’s most expensive football side, Simunovic said: “We can learn a lot of things. We will analysis things with the coach and make sure we are at our best for the next game.

“We have to look forward and learn from this type of game. That is the most important thing.

“We wanted to play our game, but they are such a good team.

“In the end, it could have been a different result, but now we have to look forward and do better.”
