ODEGAARD UP FOR GRABS

RONNY DEILA could be back in the hunt for Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard in the January transfer window.
The Celtic boss tried to lure his former Stromsgodset teenager to Parkhead when he was up for grabs last summer, but the midfielder opted for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Rafa Benitez is willing to allow the international, who is 17 next month, to go out on loan and Deila has been alerted to the fact a move to Real Zaragoza has fallen through.
Odegaard made his first team debut near the end of last season, but has failed to make the breakthrough to hold down a place in the top side’s squad.
Former Liverpool gaffer Benitez is eager for the youngster to play more competitive football.
He has been a regular in Real’s reserve team, Castilla, under the guidance of French great Zinidine Zidane.
They play in Spain’s third tier and Odegaard is keen for a temporary deal to help his development.
Deila has a good relationship with the top prospect after introducing him to first team football in Norway as a 15-year-old left-winger.
