One player who is likely to be rested for Friday is Tom Rogic, who played in Japan last week and is currently halfway through Australia’s home World Cup qualifier against Thailand.
19-year-old Odsonne Edouard will not have met many of this team-mates yet, so you could understand if Brendan Rodgers was cautious about starting him on Friday, but it could also be the perfect opportunity for the player to make a memorable impact.
Who knows, maybe we’ll see Eboue Kouassi pick up the reins in central mid?

At Kearney CSC then the Italy game, back to Kearney. Patricia and Rikki were both there. Tthen an overnight drive to Orlando for the Mexico game. We had a priest in the car with us and he said a short service because God allows a travel day. After a week in Orlando back to New York for the Norway game. Met loads of guys from Royston in Orlando including Gerry and Steph.

Football in our Islands is blindly stumbling behind the standards set by our mainland European brothers. The cash orgy in Englandshire is damaging the game at the lower levels there, and is impoverishing the game in the rest of these Islands.
But it is England that will ultimately suffer the most. In a few years, that bubble will burst, and they will be left wondering where the billions went. All of this money that is currently being lavished on the beautiful game is being vacuumed up by new owners, mercenary players and their spiv agents, and removed from the game. They are in the process of squandering the vast sums of money, that properly invested, in grass roots coaching, training facilities, and improved stadia, could have put them at the top of the game for a generation or more.
