ODSONNE EDOUARD may have seen his transfer value plummet, if media reports are to be believed, but his stock still high elsewhere.

The latest speculation has linked the French ace with a reunion with his former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City in a £15million summer switch. That would see an incredible drop in something in the region of £25million for what he was being valued the previous year.

However, Edouard’s worth to the Hoops last month was recognised with his SPFL Premiership Player of the Month Award after an impressive run of form which saw him claim seven goals in the same amount of outings.

The 23-year-old hitman, who cost a club record £9million when he arrived from Paris Saint-Germain in June 2018 following a year’s loan, began the sequence with a double in the 4-0 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Edouard then claimed the winner in the 2-1 success over Motherwell before hitting a penalty-kick in the 4-0 triumph over St Mirren in Paisley. He zipped in a quickfire double in a 2-1 win over St Johnstone in Perth before bringing down the curtain on February with the deflected winner against Aberdeen at Parkhead last weekend.

Interim boss John Kennedy will take charge of the team for the second time against Dundee United at Tannadice at midday with the flamboyant marksman set to lead the attack again.
