SOUTH KOREAN striker Oh Hyeon-gyu has already earned three cheers from the Celtic with his trio of goals since his January arrival.

The powerhouse striker netted his first Hoops goal when he swooped on a rebound to tuck the ball behind St Mirren keeper Trevor Carson in the team’s 5-1 Scottish Cup win at Parkhead on February 11.

Oh repeated the feat from the penalty spot in Paisley in the 5-1 league win against the same side in Paisley the following month.

BARE NECESSITIES…Oh Hyeo-gyu loses his top as he celebrates his header in the 3-1 win over Hibs last month.

The frontman, who cost £2.5million when Ange Postecoglou signed him from K-League outfit Suwon Bluewings at the turn of the year, completed the hat-trick with a flying header in the 3-1 success over Hibs in the east end of Glasgow on March 18.

Oh, who figured as a second-half substitute in the 2-1 League Cup Final win over Michael Beale’s Ibrox side at Hampden in February, has another reason to celebrate today – it’s his 22nd birthday!

CQN would like to lead a rousing chorus: Hoop, hoop hooray, Big Oh!
