New Uefa seeding rules this year mean that teams in Champions League Pot 2 have a higher aggregate coefficient value than teams in Pot 1. So Barcelona (we’re bound to avoid them now they look a little lost), Atletico, PSG, Borussia Dortmund and the Manchester twins. Only Sevilla and Porto would provide some comfort, the latter, in particular.
From Pot 1 we could do worse than our old friends Spartak Moscow (18 coefficient points), although Shakhtar Donetsk, Benfica and Monaco would be decent draws.
As our primary objective is to remain in Europe after Christmas, the real battleground for Celtic is in Pot 3. I’d proverbially bite your hand off for Olympiakos, Anderlecht or Besiktas, even Basel would be acceptable. Prefer to avoid the Italians of Napoli and Roma, as well as Liverpool.
Remember, don’t go booking flights before the final confirmation of dates is concluded.

Over here in a very sunny Barca, this draw will take forever so I will come back later once the lhad tells me all about it.

I will be attending the matches , seeing so many great players , who would miss being in our stadium , being part of the best club tournament in the world , sampling the atmosphere that all the top clubs and there fans want to experience . Who doesn’t want that , then of course we will bank £30 + million which will help us to keep going forward , what’s not to like . We are Improving steadily , a few more pieces of quality getting brought in . We will surprise a few of whoever we are pitched against . KTF . HH.
