SKIPPER Scott Brown was delighted new signing Scott Sinclair made an immediate impact with the winning goal against Hearts as Celtic took the first step towards six successive titles.
The midfield dynamo said: “I’m delighted for him. That’s him straight up and running. He’s a great lad and has come in and been good about dressing room.
“Scott’s shown his qualities with his pace for the goal. He’s managed to clear it and then he’s in the six-yard box and that’s the kind of players we want to bring in.
“He has done it at the highest level. He has been at great teams down in England and played fantastically and, hopefully, he can do it for us, as well.
“He’s a top quality player, so he doesn’t need a boost, but to get off his mark on his debut is great.
“It’s a great three points for us. It was a hard start, though it’s a great place to come and a great atmosphere for 90 minutes and I felt our fans were fantastic.”
