ITALIAN giants Juventus have joined the £30million pursuit of Matt O’Riley.

The Turin outfit are the third Serie A club to show an interest in the gifted playmaker as they join Inter Milan and Atalanta in the race for the in-demand Celt.

O’Riley has been targeted by Juve as they gear up to launch a bid, according to a front-page report in respected sports journal Tuttosport.

Atletico Madrid are also considering coming in with a second bid for the 23-year-old London-born Denmark international who was surprisingly omitted from his adopted nation’s Euro 24 squad.

The Spanish aces made a move in January to take the player on loan with the option to buy in the summer. The Hoops hierarchy were quick to boot out the offer.

English teams are also monitoring O’Riley’s situation after his impressive campaign last time out when he won multiple Player of the Year honours and became a pivotal figure in Brendan Rodgers’ plans.

Newly-promoted pair Leicester City and Southampton plus West Ham and Brighton have been linked with the middle-of-the-park operator, as CQN reported.

O’Riley, who cost a cut-price £1.5million when he joined from third-tier MK Dons in January 2022, signed a four-year extension at the champions last September.
