Canamalar1, There could be any number of reasons why our Board don’t push for an investigation into the goings on at the SFA.
A simple for example could be, we are planning to leave, have some agreements in place and don’t want to rock the boat, or alert others to what we are doing.
I can imagine many PLC’s doing many things that could be deemed neglectful.
Especially if those things may hinder the overall strategy of the PLC.

The board do not need to say anything except to UEFA, we have reason to believe the Scottish association are not properly governing the game, please investigate, the proof is already in the public domain, both the LNS enquiry and the FTTT result are enough proof to be getting on with, even a half arsed investigation would find more proof within the sfa’s own compliance records, there is no need to mention any other club, it’s simply a matter of governance.

I do know that public discussion would be manipulated, I do know that is a battle we can’t win, in Scotland at least.
I also know if we put this into the public domain it would be detrimental to that aim, if I am correct. This, in the public domain, would become a Celtic v Rangers problem, we need to drop them, we couldn’t do that with the MSM setting the agenda, so give them no agenda to set.
Again, just an opinion, but it takes a brave Board to set a goal and go after it, even when they know a large section of their support question the method.
And it will hurt to know you are doubted.
The thing about the UEFA licence of 2011 was the SFA’s refusal to give details and answer the questions that would have set aside all doubt.
The latest CF release which is just over 24 hours old serves to confirm the belief that the SFA and Rangers were in cahoots in granting a UEFA licence in 2011.
That Regan asked Rangers to approve the line he was proposing is bad enough. That the line was a misrepresentation of the rules ramps up the ante, then you have Rangers saying no, say nothing and that is in effect what he did, tells us Rangers thought there was something to hide.
That e mail even if inadmissable is not going to go away.
UEFA’s attention remember was drawn to the issue by recorded delivery letter so they are in some ways party to the SFA policy although might take the line that the judgement was up to the national association.
One other party knows what went on and that is HMRC who could present the written agreement that is necessary for the SFA justification to stand up.
It is so easy to prove matters were dealt properly and yet the question not only remains but has even sharper focus.
The issue was first raised in Oct 2012 and again in Feb 2012 just before admimistration. Two years later it has resurfaced and all the kings horses and all the kings men aint gonna fix this dumpty even if it takes another two years to accept it.

The only thing that has changed that has a direct impact on Celtic more than any other of CFs revelations is the email from Regan to Rangers about the UEFA licence.
It came out sometime yesterday so I suggest a reason for Celtic’s silence is they have not had enough time to decide on what stance to take.
I’d hold enough until midweek before making a silence charge. Much more likely is a something on the lines of we have no new evidence that is usable to move on.

I read interesting interview with Legia Warsaw President. Seriuos club have lists of 30 potential signings who they watch one year in many games. Before the transfer window opens they select 10 potential tagets, then they speak seriously with five or four.
Today I heard the story that Legia agreed terms wih the defender from Primera Division. He was here on Friday for medicals. During his visit he made a fool of himself and Legia resigned. Even if your newspapers told the truth about Celtic interst in Balde, It’s a long way from Guimares to the top.
Auldheid there is plenty of evidence that the sfa are acting unethically and in favour of our previous rivals. There is evidence of licenses being given which shouldn’t. Neither is sustainable. If celtic remain silent the only conclusion I can draw is that we want the Huns back. What does that say about celtic and if we accept it what does it say about us?
