ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN is poised to end the guessing game and sign for Celtic today.
The former Arsenal, Liverpool and England international midfielder has been a free agent since leaving Besiktas in late August.
Martin O’Neill is determined to bring the 32-year-old 35 times-capped ace to Parkhead with a contract until the end of the season.
Oxlade-Chamberlain missed last night’s nine o’clock signing deadline to feature in the Europa League with two games due against VfB Stuttgart later this month.

HAPPY DAZE…Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain celebrates a goal for Liverpool.
There had been conjecture the Hoops move had stalled over the contract length, but negotiations have now been completed and the experienced campaigner WILL sign today, as a report confirmed.
But it appears everything has now been agreed and Oxlade-Chamberlain will put pen to paper today.
The one-time £35million Liverpool signing will become the Hoops’ sixth winter recruit.
He follows the deadline day captures of winger Joel Mvuka, striker Junior Adamu and centre-back Benjamin Arthur after the earlier loan arrivals of right-back Julian Araujo and attack-leader Tomas Cvancara.
