MARTIN O’NEILL insists new Bhoy Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain “is raring to go.”
The 32-year-old former England international midfielder was introduced to the Hoops fans before the dramatic 2-1 Scottish Cup extra-time victory over Dundee at Parkhead last night.
And Oxlade-Chamberlain, who signed a six-month deal during the week which contains the option of another year, is hoping for a quickfire debut when the champions take on Livingston in the Premiership at the same venue on Wednesday night.

GREEN FOR GO…Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could figure against Livingston.
The ex-Arsenal and Liverpool star, capped 35 times by his country, has not featured in competitive action since leaving Turkish side Besiktas in late August.
However, Oxlade-Chamberlain has maintained his fitness levels while training with his former London club.
Now O’Neill could be tempted into giving the experienced performer a debut at some stage against the struggling West Lothian side who are anchored at the foot of the league.
Quizzed on the player’s readiness, the interim manager, speaking to Celtic TV, said: “We will know in a couple of days.
“He looks in really decent shape, he is not carrying any weight and things like that. He is raring to go.”
