PADDY ROBERTS’ WONDER GOAL

CELTIC’S on-loan winger Patrick Roberts proved his class in the England Under-20s 2-0 win over Holland last night (watch HERE).
The 19-year-old box of tricks scored a memorable opening goal against his Dutch counterparts at Oldham’s Boundary Park.
Roberts, whose temporary contract from Manchester City expires at the end the season, made his second appearance for his nation’s Under-20s after being selected by assistant coach Paul Williams for the first match of a four-nations tournament.
The tricky teenager took only six minutes to demonstrate the skills that have made him a favourite with the Hoops faithful when he finished off a lovely move.
England got the ball rolling through Reading goalkeeper Luke Southwood, before a move that involved 14 passes ended up at the feet of Roberts on the edge of the box. He skipped through the Dutch defence and rifled the ball into the net.
Roberts has a further chance to impress in games against Germany on Friday and the USA on Monday.
