If we win the League we should refuse to play in Europe, perhaps the runners up in Scotland would be given our spot. Either way we lose out on about 30 million, we wouldn’t have to worry too much about Europe after that coz we’d win eff all.
However I’m sure that strategy would no doubt please Sevco & in particular their supporters.

Jozo doesn’t look fit, neither does Rogic. Big gamble bringing both back tonight, hasn’t worked. Unfortunately Lustig’s injury means we need to stick with Jozo but bring on Paddy or Sinky for Rogic and give Moussa some support

Annoys me that our support fawn over good press concerning how well we are received in places like Paris, they are the Rangers of Europe, they are cheats on a scale that dwarfs Oldco Rangers yet we seem to chase their approval and acknowledgment.
Show them the contempt that we show to Sevco and their fans. They are not and never will be our friends. They are part of the problem that ensures that we will not compete at the highest level.
The Green Brigade should be displaying banners at these games that draw attention to this. It is arguably more important to do this against the PSG’s of the world than it is against born again clubs like Sevco who we entirely have the measure of.

It’s been argued to death and BR won’t change his tactics but a 2-3 goal defeat earned against this mob by parking the bus would be a lot easier to swallow than another hammering. Absolute nonsense to suggest, as some do, that you don’t learn by playing defensively – pack the midfield and defence and learn how to shut down the pass and move game that these players revel in. Crunch tackle them to make them wonder if they want to be in that type of game, it’s exactly what Motherwell will do against us at the weekend.
They don’t need to hammer us but they will because we are letting them do it.

Feel for Simunovic tonight as he is clearly struggling.
Ball watching is and has been an issue for us but some of PSG’Ss passing and movement is a delight to watch and an opponents nightmare.

Let’s just hope they are happy with a 4 or 5 goal win. Brendan is looking for signs of progress and we have seen seem in attack, but our defending is not adequate at this level. It’s a weakness which has totally undermined our great start.
Anyway, a thrashing tonight won’t seem quite as bad as long as Anderlecht lose.

Moussa, Olly and Jamesy Forrest have been the pick of the bunch for Celtic in that opening half while KT has also worked his socks off as always.
I’ve yet to see a replay but that looked a stonewall penalty just before half-time for the foul on Dembélé.
Could be a long 45minutes ahead but I’ll keep the faith.

Not worried one iota about tonights result I’m more interested in the result on Sunday which could be the 1st leg of a double treble
What is bothering me is that Anderlecht could be 2 or 3 up Bayern at this stage.
3rd place is still in the melting pot.
We haven’t learned from last game.
That is the most disappointing thing!
How many would be even thinking about the corruption during the game if it was closer, as it should be.
I sure hope Brendan doesn’t lay off the players and spells out their poor play with a pointy stick or a boot up the arse.
