  1. Well that was good that the BBC cleared up the penalty decisions in our games yesterday…

    D. :)

  2. prestonpans bhoys on

Just watched the highlights on BBC, honestly what’s the difference between Jags penalty and our none won😵

  3. What a whitewash on sportscene.

Draw coming up I’ll be dumbfounded if the huns don’t get a home tie that will be televised live on a channel.

    Keeps the bassas head afloat.

  4. Better to have Clyde away then at home. There would be a tiny crowd and no atmosphere at Celtic Park.

Huns away on plastic, I’m glad we avoided that.

  5. Turkeybhoy 8.37pm

    Stupid ??

It’s a wee joke about the officialdom of Scottish football ..

Maybe stupid is taking posts on a blog seriously :-)

  6. Nobody’s going to tell me the Scottish Cup isn’t rigged,Sevco and Celtic to easy teams in the next round .Nice to see a bit off Green on the girl presenter on Sportscene ,wonder if she is a Tim

  7. lets all do the huddle on

    —-

    have always said that

much prefer us to have away cup games

  8. Timbhoy I’ll tell you it isn’t rigged obviously it is your prerogative to think differently.

Accies are indeed a poor team but on their home plastic there is always a chance.

My overriding wish coming into the draw was to avoid plastic.

I actually don’t know what surface Clyde play on, I haven’t heard different so I’m assuming it’s grass.’

  9. Weekend over back to the grind the morra … hope the Griff keeps the starting jersey on Wednesday …

Fellow Celts good night n god bless, it’s good to have the hoops back so the blog can get back to the actual fitba

  10. GFTB,

What wee joke.Every draw we get it.If we had got a hard away today, and they a home,we would have an avalanche of”Fekin knew it”.No lover of corrupt SFA,but to honestly think that a Televised draw, with ex players or Celebs drawing the balls could be fixed,is beyond belief.Well mine anyway.

    Don’t give me”A wee joke”patter.

  11. I’m with you Turkeyboy. I definitely think there are, I would imagine normally sensible, folk on here that go a bit dotty thinking these things are fixed – on live TV!

In fact I think the paranoia has been ripping out this place some days recently – ever since that grim day in December

    Infamy, infamy and all that

  12. Go tell the Spartim on

    Fact is stranger than fiction

    FACT

If anyone actually reviewed the evidence from major corruption and conspiracy cases you’ll soon realise you were never paranoid enough.

  13. *** CQN PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2019-20 ***

RESULTS FROM GAME #28 – PARTICK THISTLE 1 CELTIC 2 (GRIFFITHS, McGREGOR)

Our first game of 2020 and a brand new Man Of The Match as we defend our 3 in a row Scottish Cup record. Of course, itcould have been much more comfortable if only the officials knew the rules. A 2 yards onside offside call in the first half Along with a non penalty should have seen us 3 up at the break. And the injury time non-penalty just added to the frustration. Anyway, we’re through to the last 16 and a n away trip to Clyde.

We now move on to a potentially difficult tie on Wednesday evening away to Kilmarnock. But I’m confident that we will show the watching audience why we have been Champions for 8 (EIGHT) years in a row.

    Hail Hail!

  14. Turkeybhoy 9.35pm

The “wee joke” was the way I look at it, canny type for others … but what the Huns have got away with since 2012 and to think a draw “might” be fixed isn’t that far fetched … they actually flout nearly every business law in the land and the use of their original entity’s brand name actually is unlawful under HMRC’s normal rules for Phoenix companies… so to think a “live” draw to be contrived isn’t really that far fetched … we can agree to disagree, am comfortable with being correct :-)

More importantly Celtic are back from their winter break winning games of football … that’s what really matters

    Bedtime now ….

    Anyhow …

  15. Hunderbirds are gone,

Rogic did OK with Coco the Clown’s boots. Not to worry pal you win some you lose some. I actually thought Julien was doing OK & only for the cock up that led to the dodgy penalty at the end he was in my thoughts for a possible vote, obviously he left my thoughts after that yet must admit I was surprised to see him receiving no vote at all.

  16. I’m offski to Teneriffe manyana, rarely post or even lurk while on hols so I’ll check in when I get back & who knows if I get bored out there I might be on sooner. Adios.

  17. Slight correction – Griff only received 2 points, not 3. Here’s the correct version ;-)

    It is Showtime.

    Lenny it is your Time.

  19. A couple of days after saying i wanted a few players brought in of the Forster, Elyounoussi, pedigree, Lenny says he’s looking for players like Elyounoussi.

Was questioned by some of the cqn regulars, yet not seen any objections to Lennys wishes.
