Jicon, I also log on as a long standing Celtic Supporter, and spent many an hour reading about such diverse subjects as Scottish Independence to toasted cheese sandwiches but never had the cheek or felt the need to call out other posters on the subject.
By the way I happen to know Gerard Sands son of Bobby, he is a top Celtic Supporter and a regular visitor to Celtic Park. As far as I know he lurks here, I trust you have no objection to CQN’ers paying tribute to the father of one of their own.

One of the best things about CQN is its diversity.
I`m not German and I`m not a sevco supporter.
Having been kicked out of an interview for being a Catholic and verbally persecuted in my first job …….. but what`s that to do with Celtic………

A particularly uninformed opinion if I say so.
There already is a court case looking into fraud at RFC including the failure to pay the WTC bill.
That is the only reason that evidence that Celtic have been aware of since after the 2013 AGM is not in the public domain.
The idea that it is not solid and Celtic need to have more is one that is counter to proceedings with them since then.

I just don`t know what CKR brings to the party with a career record in not what you would call top class football of a goal every 8.6 games but good luck to him.

The Munduruku tribe, an isolated tribe in the Amazon can only count up to 5. they have no concept of anything greater than 5. A few of them (no more than 5 cos they can’t imagine any number greater than 5 as I’ve said….although it may be greater than ‘our’ five, but of course not their ‘5”) can however say “Hail Hail The Celts are here”…I know that cos I taught them.
Families with 10 children have 5 children!
The year after next they will say that Celtic are going for 5 in a row and will continue to do that until we go back to going for one in a row.

By the way, research by a Frenchman called Pierre Pica has elucidated that some tribes can only count up to two….I can imagine who taught them that!

90% of my posts have been about Celtic but strangely none have caught your attention thus far, until my diary post of Bobby Sands.

I always thought Zlatan was workmanlike at best. Saw him in the Amsterdam Arena when we beat Ajax 3-1.
But I also thought Cascarino would be a great signing for us. And Slater. And, for that matter, Frank Munro.

Good stuff. I’m sure it was a lovely family occasion. As you always, correctly say, family is the most important thing.
My story about Bobby Sands MP when the news broke that he had died, Priesthill Road was set alight by tyres. I know the younger folks might find that hard to believe, but that was the times we lived in. As you say Gerry the hunger strikers were admired.

I was dead against it when we signed Pat Stanton but when that worked out well (injuries aside), I thought the Big Man might have pulled off another coup with Munro.
Blind faith allied to a complete dereliction of common sense contributed to my optimism.

Nevin, the man who admitted to dumping Celtic due to ‘the IRA songs’, took to supporting Hibs instead, and kept his Chelsea love affair going (his words) despite their mob famously racially abusing Paul Cannoville, their own player.
*He once penned an article for Shoot or Goal about a friendly against them up at the asbestos game when one black chelski players was getting really really verbally abused by the klan.
His manager decided to spare him any more abuse and subbed him to great acclaim from the white hooded mob bringing on a youngster called Priest.
When it was announced over the tannoy who the sub was there was an eerie silence followed by “bring back the darkie”.
