  1. Ye don’t talk to the board, ye sack them.

The fans should grab the club by the stone’s and, put the financial-gun to the board’s head, telling them – “Get into the ring – fight the Res 12 case – or, we’ll sack you!”

    Simples.

  2. Yes……3 Points…..well played Celtic

No idea where this will appear on CQN???

    HH and NN

  3. Hunderbirds are Gone on

Think I was running around the matrix for an hour or so there.

    We won, right?

  4. Good result and good performance from GMS!

Score flattered P.Thistle – hopefully this post appears on the blog sometime before Killie get a draw at the sheep-pen.

    H!H!

  5. Can’t wait to see Celtic get a penalty for a defenders touching our player in the box :-)

    Delighted with the Win

Not so with Scott a brown form – woeful

    Oh Hail Hail

Please Paul, can we have our auld unimproved blog back? Am urnae the Donald!

At least it didnae put the bhoys off today. Well done the Celtic.

  7. Scraped through again when we should have been out of sight. The penalty was as soft as a huns head, but we have to allow for that. I just did not get his subs. Happy we got all the points but its going to be hard grind, I don’t think the Sheep are going away.

  8. Watched that on German TV – should have won by quite a distance, but 3 points in the bag.

German commentator going nuts at the pen decision…

    “Penalty? Nein! Penalty Nein, nein…”

Then after that he kept rhyming off all the Celtic bookings for some reason :-)

Much better than anything we get here!

Hi folks what page is the horsey naps on.

    ——————————

They’re on page 18 of the Live Updates thread

  11. Well done Celtic, a much needed win.

I thought GMS had his best game in the Hoops today and was among our best performers along with Mulgrew and Tierney.

  12. Arrived in Mallaig ( no surprise its raining) good excuse to find the game, found pub in time to see second goal.

Based on last 30 mins only Broony still off Pace , a haircut might bring back the old fire.

Soft soft penalty and Eric gets his customary yellow card. The masons must give exta points to MIBs who can get a Tim with more than Ten letters in their name, are there any of these jokers left who have not booked him?

    The Onlooker

  13. Usual performance from us, well on top 2 nil up.

Then 2 great one on one chances to make it 3, slack play not taking them.

Softest penalty ever, and having to hold on at the end.

    Brown awful.

    Commons missing once again.

    McGregor and GMS did well.

  14. Hamiltontim – agree on GMS. Wait till you see a re-run of the hit he took when he became the jam in a sandwich! No attempt to play the ball, man only…and hun ref gave a reluctant foul but no booking.

Our players put themselves on the line when they put that top on, we should remember that when they are sometimes cautious receiving the ball.

Anyone got a clip of it?

  15. Erik Sviatchenko helped the ever eager SFA stumer, waste the ending of the Celtic away win with the swiftest of soft penalty awards, in a game where Celtic should have been further ahead than the length of Maryhill Rd.

A goal in each half from Griffiths and McGregor ought to have set up an out of sight win for Bhoys v Magyars were it not for a sequence of missed Celtic chances also each side of the interval.

Celtic might have found the team for the run in? – as Charlie Mulgrew cemented his CB role beside Keiran Tierney with a tidy display, Calum McGregor with a classy finsih, and Gary MacKay Steven with two assists, staking further good claims to keep the jerseys.

Kris Commons couldn’t find the trigger, Scott Brown hasn’t returned from injury yet, and clearly needs his head shaved, or something. Bitton was elegant, and sub Colin Kazim Richards showed one or two better touches, that give some hope for the long run in.

Firhill for thrills not, just three points, en route to five.

    M.O.M Keiran Tierney

  16. Three points – but we should have scored a few more. And if that’s now the standard for penalties we should have six every match,

Second post in two hours and get a slow down warning? This site is being moderated by the SFA

  17. Fans wanted Allan Christie Roberts – we get GMS Commons Christie – let’s hope they do well today

Fans wanted Allan Christie Roberts – we get GMS Commons Christie – let’s hope they do well today

    ————————-

    Christie didn’t play.

It was GMS McGregor and Commons.

2 assists and a goal, not a bad return.
