  1. Onlooker

    Not paranoid enough.

Then again the ref cabal know that decisions that adversely affect Celtic will not be subject to the same scrutiny. If there were any doubt about this Ooor Wullie getting suspended should put that to bed. Absolute fecking joke.

    Enjoy yer hols E

  2. Just back from Maryhill La Plage, good performance but we need to take more of our chances. Should have won by 4 or 5. Mulgrew, Brown looking closer to their best (Mulgrew is a competent centre half not a midfielder), Tierney, McGregor and GMS the pick of the bunch.

Penalty looked like a joke, not seen it since.

    The Huddle

    Tongue in cheek.

In fact Norwich haven’t won since January 2nd and have lost 8 from the last 10.

    Relegation form.

    :O)

    I did wonder

  4. Now the board is complaining I’m posting too quick.

    Without inference it’s not a complaint I’ve had in a while. :-)

You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down

Aberdeen as our main rivals is a genuine football rivalry and I like it. They deserve our respect as a Club and we should rid ourselves of the view that it is our right to win the Title. We gave much more respect to a team who did not deserve it. Let`s not adopt that supremacist attitude that the old Huns had and continue to have as followers of Sevco . Time for the rugby.

  6. Callum McGregor is turning into a very important player for us great goal by him today.

  7. saltires en sevilla on

Good result today -from my limited view their lad was offside when he recieved the pass then minimal contact – no clear foul- but maybe ten reruns will prove it was deserved

Didn’t stopus! 3 valuable point stowed away and anyone that has won a league at any level, knows these wins are absolutely vital!!!

    Pressure on the Dons agin!!

Aberdeen fans quite rightly will expect to win every game (apart from when they face Celtic, and even then anything can happen over 90mins). It’s what makes leagues interesting.

Gearoid, Finnie has previous with us. We beat Motherwell 1 nil at Celtic Park about five or six years ago.

He was appalling and rounded it off by sending off Broonie near the end. Broonie tried to pull out of a tackle with Steven hammil, slipped then collided with Hammil. Finnie gave Scott a second unjustified yellow. .

Needless to say that wee nyaff Lasley was up at Finnie to send Broonie off and duly obliged.

  10. I love a game of Who’s Who?

‘speshlly after 3 away derby game points.

I was BMCUW earlier, but, despite showing him the evidence, Gary the barman wouldn’t give me a Guinness for two quid!

  11. Watched the game in Manchester today brother Finnie couldn’t wait to award one of the softest penalties I have seen, no change there then but highlights the importance of putting away our chances to limit the MIBs influence.

Watching MUFC what a stark contrast in pitch quality from what we played on today. They also have a set up that would be the envy of a large number of Scotland’s senior clubs

All the summaries are pretty consistent.

Mulgrew, Tierney, Mc.Gregor and Griffiths all stood out.

I was a bit concerned that Calum disappeared for a large part of the first half, but resumed his influential role in the second.

KT just doesn’t make is takes and GMS carries a real threat, playing on the left, with licence to play through the middle.

A wee mention for Lustig, who looked more like himself.

Good result on a difficult surface for ball players.

  13. Mind the shove on GMS before his top-notch cross for Leigh’s goal? Ref was giving sod all.

Not enough contact, a Man’s GEMME, son.

Then, the Celtic Defender Modification appeared for Big Erik.

They’re no’ bothered about being subtle, are they?

  14. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

That penalty award was a disgrace today.

Stating the obvious I Know. But the regularity of these decisions needs tackled.

  15. Did they ever show a replay of the Partick player who looked miles off side when knocking the ball out wide?

They showed multiple replays of the penalty and each time the commentator (think it was Walker) couldn’t actually say when the foul was committed though he did say it was committed.

  16. Beatbhoy

The ref let plenty go today then gives one of the softest penalties I’ve seen .

We need to put games to bed and not give the refs a chance to influence the game.

  17. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

The Huddle. Sure it was McCann doing the commentary, whining something about it being “absolutely” the right thing.

  18. 67Heaven .. CHALLENGING THE LIE ..I am wee Oscar...... Ipox belongs to the creditors on

    Never a penalty….

Has anyone christened Sevco The Revenant yet?

    Revenant.

    noun

    1.

    a person who returns.

    2.

a person who returns as a spirit after death; ghost.

  20. Aiden Bhoy

Eg, the 2 late tackles on Lustig as he cleared the ball, no fouls, never mind yellows.

It’s blatant, so, yeah, we can’t really risk tight finishes when we get so many chances to neutralise the MIB.

  21. i’m done complaining about the obvious bias of scottish refs – why bother??? I’m more annoyed at the attitude of this Celtic board who need to do more PUBLICLY rather than take it on the chin!! this has been going on forever and to the point it is accepted!!

  22. Good 3 points, nervy finish, GMS worked hard McGregor had a good game, KC in flashes but cant last 90 mins.

We need to stick our chances away when you get penaltyies against like today.

  23. Hi ghuys enjoying my birthday in some glorious weather here in Marbella. It is all about results now although better performances would give us something to cheer about. What is the site to go to that makes out you are still in the UK? H H Hebcelt

  24. I’ll stop complaining about the cheatin’ chumpires when they start applying the rules consistently and without fear or favour.

Don’t expect to be stopping any time soon.

  25. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

A win was what mattered most , and we got it.

Can any of our players or management be told no talk of the semi final in any press conferences over the next four or five weeks.

I saw the post match stuff on the Kodi.

Tanner is such a fud, only he could be so negative about us winning.

A few ex players on the score sheet down the road. ,Hooper, McGeady, Fortune and Josh Thompson . He scored for non- league Southport.

He’s a nae use nuthin fae naewhere who knows hee haw about hee haw.

Have a great birthday, I was logged in as you earlier so I might have a wee swally to celebrate your birthday (& it’s Saturday) and a great 3pts for Ronny & the bhoys

  27. I did have a laugh when the Thistle fans were singing “boring, boring , Celtic” as we retained possession at the back; and from the we then scored.

If we had been playing at home there are a few behind me in 408 who would have been less polite than the Thistle fans …

I don’t think the Board is simply ‘taking it on the chin’.

I think they think they’re being shrewd, or canny, in a savvy, business way: doing what’s best for ‘shareholder value’.

Which would be bollocks, of course.

Also: if I’m right, then they’re utterly detached from reality, and are steaming, full speed into a moral and commercial iceberg.

  30. Dallas

I thought the wee shit reined it in a bit today, as he’s a bit feart fae Big Mark, who’s no’ gonnae play his anti-Celtic games.
