This is a game more suited to a pass and move player like McGregor

    ……………………………………………………………………………………………….

I agree. I’d change Tom for Callum. Tom is our Magician but not tonight, IMO.

    Excellllllllllllllllllllllent!

    Mon the Hoops!

We have slipped free of the confines of trepidation and fear – now unleash the dogs of war!

  3. One thing PT have been good at is intercepting Celtic passing at the edge of the box..but we only have to be lucky once..

    Another chance for Celts

    HT 1-0

  4. HT. Griff looking a bit more settled now. Hopefully Brendan has a wee soothing word with GMS. I expect Rogic to be first in the showers for us.

  5. In total control.

Broonie could-should have been booked there, it’s things like that where the cheats with the whistles get away with all the crap against us.

All I ask for is the rules to be applied fairly across the board, no more no less.

  6. PETEC

    Agree Rogic not there tonight.

    Not the only one!

Paddy has given ball away consistently

    Gamboa looks nervous

    GMS growing into the game

Thank you. It’s priceless to be able to see the goals courtesy of you, when you can’t see the goals.

if you know what I mean.

    Mon the Bhoys!

  8. Marrakesh Express on

Up to the goal we heard more rebel songs than Celtic ones. Why the modern obsession?

I stood in the jungle through the 70s, at the height of the troubles, and there was nowhere near the amount. There must be 50 good Celtic songs yet they persist in stuff which our many detractors lap up.

    Clueless.

  9. sixtaeseven - 65 trophies in my lifetime on

    PT frustrating the Celts.

That said we are not producing anything much more than the 1-0 lead.

Hopefully Brendon will does his HT magic and we will score a couple more.

  10. I had to back to listen to that commentary again just as the half time whistle blew.

“It’s often said around the league that refs are a bit loathe to reach for the yellow card when it comes to Scott Brown”

What parallel universe is Rae living in.

  11. Gerryfaethebrig on

Brown & Armstrong are brilliant together…..

Leigh will soon be hitting the onion bag…

  12. patmcgrathtakesapenalty on

Persistent, incisive, reliable, inspirational, supporting each other – that’s the supporters.

The Bhoys on the field are doing all right… but just all right.

  13. The wind is making it difficult for Celtic to move the ball quickly, happy with 1. 0 at half time.

  14. GlassTwoThirdsFull on

A bit flat. Missing the pace of Sinclair and Forrest. Maybe need to start moving the BALL a bit quicker – McGregor might appear some time.

Thistle not parking the bus, so should be some opportunities in the second half.

  15. I think Paddy struggles with his role in Brendan’s system.

He is not really involved enough.

A guy with his obvious talent should have far more impact

  16. Not a great game so far. Paddy a bit light weight tonight and team not producing much goal threat despite superior possession.

  17. Marrakesh Express…totally agree. It’s in overdrive tonight. Given the Diversity of the Celtic songsheet I see no need. We have supporters of all religions and all political opinions unfortunately the chorus has been hijacked by a minority . Annoying particularly when they add so much at other times.

  18. Roberts is too predictable, always cut inside onto his left foot. He should go outside every now and again, mix it up a bit.

Stuart Armstrong beginning to remind me of Craig Burley Thats a compliment btw

I’m assuming this is a level of satire I have yet to discover.

    Marrakesh Express…

    ==========================================

Encouraging to see your thoughts on the subject.

  21. Marrakesh Express,

My Dad never taught me hear one Rebel Song. I learnt them in School.

    Arthur was Religious about Celtic.

I’ve never let my own Son hear the Rebels.

The Old Firm is getting blamed on the BoardRoom.

Some people just want to be Rebels all their days.

The Garden was the Ultimate Rebel…. He is finished, he will Drag Every Last wan he can to dwell with him in his Eternal Life…. Because do not think we are Finished when we LEAVE this World.

The Queen Wore the Green. ;))

  22. Great , inviting cross by Leigh , for the goal .

The vision , gut instinct ,and timing of the run by Stuart Armstrong was special.

His run into the 6 yard box started way before the cross.

We have a right good midfielder now with Armstrong.

What’s religion got to do with the songs ?

    Anyway, monthehoops
