Partnering Kelvin Wilson

704

After a couple of days away from the computer I caught up with the Ben Nevis Huddle photographs, magnificent achievement to everyone involved.  Our 1254125 project is in good hands.  I’d no idea there would be snow at the top of the mountain in June.

Have you bought your ticket for the Lions Roar event at the Kerrydale Suite on Friday evening.  It will be a great opportunity to watch the Lisbon game in the company of the Lions and enjoy a Question and Answer session afterwards.  There will also be a chance to get your picture taken, so get along.

Accurate news broke today that Celtic are in the market for a central defender.  We are not short of cover in this area of the team but no one has made an irrefutable claim for a place to partner Kelvin Wilson.

As we have often said, successful defending can only be done by a unit, not an individual, but unsuccessful defending by be achieved by anyone.  As ever, let’s hope Neil gets his first choice.

If you are still to renew your season ticket sign up for 1254125 at the same time – it’s every bit as important a part of being a Celtic fan as watching football.  If you’ve already renewed, get back and register.

You can buy Willie Wallace’ autobiography below:

  1. Rubicon,

Thanks – but all I do is zoom around the course on a golf buggy and take some photos. It’s great fun! There are others who do all of the hard work in organising and running the day.

The CQN Open is one of my favourite days of the year, the chance to meet up with so many great people. And having a Lisbon Lion along was just superb.

  2. So Sevco can cheat, steal, not pay social taxes, sing bigoted songs, all of which goes unreported in MSM.

The Sun today desperately trying to liken the Balde transfer to that of Tecez/Maschereno to West Ham.

How desperate are these hurting Huns?

Ps didn’t buy it , glanced at it in the lunch room at work

    Great minds .

Mrs S of T recommended that yesterday but then quickly withdrew the advice . She rightly reckoned that anything I went anywhere near would end up covered in Vaseline…

She regularly calls me Maldestra Sporcizia [ she has a point ]

    Big thanks for the thought

Doesn’t matter where they site it they will still not buy anything from it cos they only shop in Sports Direct or in markets selling fine fare from Thailand & China. They also buy most ‘big ticket items’ from the local hallions & men with wooley faces for big discounts !!

The great thing about the CQN Open, the remarkable thing, is that each successive year is the best ever.

Absolutely terrific day once again. Thanks to the ghuys who put the hours in to make it happen, and to the many CQNers whose company make it a highlight of the year.

Great photos Gordon J ” “Enclosed are your Exceptionally Big Tees. These are being loaned to you. Indefinitely.” has to be one of the cleverest gags Ive heard in years! Genius. Looks like everyone had a wonderful day and what a turnout. Really hope to make it over in the coming years. Well done to all involved

Piriform is Latin for pearshaped this is a very good programme that clears out all the garbage picked up by cookies and the likes anybody who doesn’t have this I would highly recommend down loading it as it will speed up you’re computer especially if its an older one that needs cache cleaned, if you use it once a fortnight it will make a big difference!

  12. Releasing Thomas Rogne was significant, and despite picking up Kelvin Wilson on a pre contract NFL hasn’t replicated his successful foray’s into the market, at Centre Back.

He’s had a few false starts but hopefully this summer we’ll put that one right, as well.

tomthetim – you should also have Anti Virus Software (AVG is free) and anti-spyware (Spybot Search and Destroy is also free).

Wee bit curious as to why the cardigan in his new role as chairman hasn’t come out and told the dark mob that everything is fine, onward and upward, now go and buy a season ticket. Hopefully its because everything isn’t fine and their heading for the rocks, which would be nice.

Anyone fancy trying to win a couple bob before Ascot might want to risk a fiver at 7/1 on Cuckoo Rock in the 1st at Warwick tonight. Seems a decent price for a horse which won at this same meeting a year ago. The rain is gonna help (in fact I think the odds will shorten now the rain is here) and the trainer is in decent form. The horse seems to be better at this time of the year. Might be worth a wee try.

I’d like our new centre half to be a genuine Crusher of Grunts.

Failing that, having seen him the snap of his glorious trews, we should partner Ylurc with ole Kelvin.

  21. ProphetOfRegret on

thomthetim what windows do you have? what program isnt responding? is it all of them? when does this happen? is it after you try to do something in particular or is it random?

use google chrome if you aren’t already. you’ll get used to the layout. dont use internet explorer or firefox. internet explorer is pish and firefox’s updates make it periodically pish.

most of the time people’s computers are slow cos its doing a bunch of stuff in the background that you’re not aware of/dont need. you can change the stuff that comes on automatically when you turn on your pc by pressing the windows key (at bottom left of keyboard) and R. then type “MSCONFIG” into the box and go to the startup tab at the top right. you can untick whatever from in there, just leave your antivirus ticked/any security software you have. after you restart it wont be trying to load a million things at once. (NB in windows xp onwards you dont need anything ticked in this list so dont freak out about unticking the wrong stuff you can always go back in and tick it again)

a defrag (suggested above) is a good idea but you dont need to install/download any software to do it cos windows has its own disk defrag. press the windows key again and type defrag into the search box. it’ll be in the results. if you havent done it before it’ll likely take a while.

it could be that you (or your teenage son) has installed a program for free movies or whatever (ahem) and your computer is full of spyware/nasty stuff. run an antivirus and also an anti spyware program, spybot search and destroy is a good one. malware bytes another.

if you are using a laptop/netbook it could be that you’ve physically fried it from the heat it produces. this happens ALL THE TIME. make sure you dont block any fans when you using it.

please thom that is all i can remember…
