Partnering Kelvin Wilson

704

After a couple of days away from the computer I caught up with the Ben Nevis Huddle photographs, magnificent achievement to everyone involved.  Our 1254125 project is in good hands.  I’d no idea there would be snow at the top of the mountain in June.

Have you bought your ticket for the Lions Roar event at the Kerrydale Suite on Friday evening.  It will be a great opportunity to watch the Lisbon game in the company of the Lions and enjoy a Question and Answer session afterwards.  There will also be a chance to get your picture taken, so get along.

Accurate news broke today that Celtic are in the market for a central defender.  We are not short of cover in this area of the team but no one has made an irrefutable claim for a place to partner Kelvin Wilson.

As we have often said, successful defending can only be done by a unit, not an individual, but unsuccessful defending by be achieved by anyone.  As ever, let’s hope Neil gets his first choice.

If you are still to renew your season ticket sign up for 1254125 at the same time – it’s every bit as important a part of being a Celtic fan as watching football.  If you’ve already renewed, get back and register.

  9. Have to disagree, we definately do not have comfortable cover in centre of defence. In fact, aside from replacing potential leaving stars, it is priority in my eyes.

Mulgrew, Wilson Ambrose, though could argue Mulgrew potentially on the left, and Lustig can potentially play there.

If you go for the two players for every position model, and count Mulgrew and Lustig as full backs, then we only have Ambrose, Wilson in the middle now that Rogne and Gherson have left.

Another CB is signing priority, then addressing the replacement of anyone who may leave.

Given may be replacement if Forster leaves, though should’ve signed Johnny Russell to cover potential loss of Hooper, Stokes, or both.

Wanyama, despite being the player of the 3 I’d least like to lose, actually comes from area of the pitch we do have cover in – Brown, Ledley, Kayal, Rogic, Mulgrew can all potentially play defensive mid.

  11. Awe Naw, Unionb, Phyllis, Prophet,

    Thanks lads.

I am slowly trying to decipher the info on the links provided.

I am using Firefox and, going by comments on the Mozilla Support site, it appears to be a problem exclusive to Firefox.

The obvious thing to do, therefore, would be to go on to Google Chrome, but, in the meantime, to start with, I selected the Reset to Factory settings option on Firefox..

I have a Ccleaner installed, so is it safe to run it without losing necessary stuff?

I will also run the defrag prog. It can’t hurt. Can it?

    Rubicon,

    From earlier— I totally agree.

Gordon– the photographs were and are fantastic and you do a great job with that and the refreshments– not that I had any of course! I will grace a clubhouse with my presence — but have yet to brave the course.

Again I would stress it is a great day and the effort that goes into it is something else.

Oh… and one more thing…. If we ever have a CQN talking contest Sannabhoy will win it at a canter…… or should that be chanter????

No the defrag cannot hurt and you can run it at any time. And stop it at anytime. My tip would be to leave it running overnight before you go to bed

Firefox is a monster when it comes to memory

Chrome is as good and less hungry

Resetting Firefox to factory settings means it will go back to teh state it was in after being installed ? DO you want to do that … delete your old bookmarks .. remove any add ons etc ?

thomthetim – I’d do these steps in this order

    1. Close any browsers you have running.

    2. Go to Control Panel/Internet Options and choose “Delete browsing history and cookies”

    3. Defrag as suggested earlier using the Windows utility.

    4. Open your browser and run CC Cleaner as described by unionbearBhind.

    5. Run a full AV scan
