Patience from the champions

206

Our struggles this season first emerged been on August when St Johnstone first visited. Then, they were bottom of the league but earned a point and could have left with more. Having escaped Perth in December with three points after being behind at the break, there will be no over-confidence among the champions.

Whatever bounce Craig Levein brought after his managerial arrival has dissipated. His side have win only two of their 10 games since the break, at Ross County and Aberdeen.  They will defend deep but patience from the champions spirits pay off.

Posted earlier 1968 year for the AC Milan game. WRONG!! as the late John Dunn (BBC radio 2) would have said to any contestant who were incorrect in ‘ the mystery voice’ segment of his evening show. It was 1969.On the Saturday after the AC game I stayed for the Celtic v Partick Th match. Big Yogi netting the only goal…. and tbe attendance given ad 29,000.

I don’t think so. The McClair fee was £800,000. Still a steal. Brian was a far more valuable asset to Celtic rather than the unmentionable who left on the same day.
