It wasn’t Celtic at their devastating best, but there was enough on show to reassure us that the malaise which had afflicted the champions in recent weeks is easing.
Brendan Rodgers chopped and changed who accompanied Callum McGregor and Matt O’Riley in midfield, before handing Paulo Bernardo consecutive starts – and the team the chance to build some consistency. The Portuguese performed perfectly, pinching the opening goal to settle collective nerves.
The really swirls have been the fourth or fifth Celtic goal of the day, such was the volume and quality of chances passed up. At just the one goal down, Dundee were still on it until the late and effective cameo from Ireland’s Own, Mikey Johnston.
Aping Lius Palma’s signature move, Mikey cut inside from the left and unleashed a right foot shot into the fat corner. Minutes later he added a third.
Dundee were repeatedly cut open in the closing stages as the Tic’s passing game clicked.

GP…..would that not take major reshuffling /shaping of our structure
Summer fitty takes me back to the June game Scotland v Georgia 🙈, delayed due to a deluge of rain…..not often but it happens.
everyone knew there was a snow storm coming – forecast has been accurate. Ross County should have travelled a day earlier. Just as they would for a 3pm kick off. Amateurs

RC probably couldn’t afford it think think they just broke even on their last accounts
What Marspapa said.
🤔
BSR – TV scheduling shows it’s usual respect for this festive period.
War movies all over the shop.
The Longest Day currently on ITV4.
Daryl F Zanuck’s lavish production of D-Day portrays the American’s as tough no nonsense go getters and the English as stiff upper lipped buffoons.
He probably wasn’t far wrong.
Back to B
Traditional violence
So, owing to lack of ECL qualification, LC final and weather, Der hun’s systemic advantage of acquiring points ahead of Celtic has been removed this season.
I hear VAR are looking into it, with only one outcome possible……penalty ranjurs.
All I would change on Saturday is switch wingers.
No probs

Yes it would. But there are sound reasons for Summer football , similar to the Nordic model
Our weather is much worse than in England lets not try to emulate them.
Less games postponed
No EPL competition.
Possibly a better TV / broadcasting deal.
Not endangering fans by asking them to travel in horrendous conditions.
Open air stadia is not suitable foe our winters.
More fans would use public transport.
Not having to attend games dressed for subsea and Artic conditions.
Imo, another overdue debate.
Cheers and HH.

Can’t disagree with any of that 👍.
PAUL67 asked years ago for suggestions to improve match day quality….. I mentioned air con or some sort of heating for the reasons you mentioned above……
I’m sure a German team(s) has it installed 🤔
Hibs had agreed to the management team being wired for the game tonight however SFA came out with this shite:
a body cam on Montgomery’s assistant Sergio Raimundo and cameras inside the home team’s dressing room.
However, SFA chiefs told the league body, Hibs and the broadcaster that such a move isn’t allowed as they quoted an IFAB.
Now the English FA didn’t object so what is the SFA agenda 🤔
thems are organising a ‘march’ on sat before the Glasgow derby.
Good evening friends. 2 hours left to vote, please. SENCELPOTY@GMAIL.COM

However, the world had to stop the vindictive Israelis from this murderous campaign.
An absolute disgrace to humanity, them of al people should no better.

The weather, and it has to be said, the full moon, has done us a turn, no doubt about it.
Now we have got an open door, or in the vernacular, an open windae
To go back eight points clear, league leaders going into 2024 and a winter break before playing Buckie Thistle in the Scottish Cup we couldn’t have written that script..
Got to act it out though, if not i can see a trip to Dubai coming on.
Zero chance we’re keeping a hold of big Matt at the end of the season, so we should enjoy him whilst we can. He’s hot stuff, with Leicester, Leeds, Inter and now West Ham fan site all confirming a solid interest. They won’t be the only ones and I’d be surprised if Ange wasn’t interested in taking him to Spurs. A bidding war will drive up his value, which serves our interests perfectly.
This scenario would make Matt the perfect Pieter boy for ‘the model’. Bring them in young, cheap and well scouted; make a material contribution whilst they’re here then sell on for a massive profit. An exemplar to attract the next one.
Bernardo is a different type of midfielder, but I think he’s going to be good. I expect part of the Matt sale will fund a permanent transfer. Time will tell.

*what if the tried but found taht there was no room at the Inn
Alas MOR is unlikely to be here next season. We will sign someone who may or may not be of equivalent quality but will take time to bed in and the CL will unfortunately “come too soon”.
Rinse and repeat.
FFS,this place sometimes.Don’t we get enough of the Rags trying to sell our players without, thick as shit fans cheer leading for them?.They never learn, for that very reason.Remember,” Kyogo,Hatate to Spurs.
“Milan want to take MOR to Italy,ON LOAN,to see if he is good enough”!!!!!!!!!!!,and many more, all gladly sucked up by the aforementioned,” Thick as shit”from the Rags, and for some perverse logic, then spewed out on Celtic Blogs. For people who dont read the Rags ,where do they get their info?.
Penalty to the mini’s!
Missed!
🤣🤣🤣
D:)
Turkey, you do realise the comma after “without” is superfluous and a hyphen between “cheer” and “leading” would have been tidier.
Did you know there’s no need for a full stop after a question mark?
I do hope you accept this in the spirit that it’s intended. We wouldn’t want you to come across as “thick as Sh£&t”, would we?

I might not be overly impressed by your manner of expression but I do agree with your main point.

Hail Hail!
M O Reilly has not carried his early season form into the now IMO. Love the guy but I dont think he is going to be offski anytime soon for fortunes of dosh! He needs to be more consistent with good form and anyway I want him to stay with us for a couple more seasons!
Some don’t like rumours (it creates debate) but the new Adidas home kit for next year has been leaked.
If it is the one,I for one am happy. Sorry don’t know how put it on here
