Peter, you will never walk alone

311

Over the years I have lost count of the number of times I asked Peter Lawwell to speak up and defend himself from ill-informed nutcases who thought him too exertive or not exertive enough.  He continually refused, “What is best for Celtic?” was his repeated response.  The real world is not as conspiratorial as many seem to think.

The man’s sheer intellect towered over Scottish football for 17 years.  If you wanted to influence a neutral against Peter’s position, you needed your A game.  Most went home to lick their wounds, many of them resentful.  If you cannot outsmart him, blame his hidden hand, seems to be the excuse of choice.

The perpetrator of the fireball attack on his home in the early hours of the night will likely be caught; these types are seldom criminal masterminds.  Although we know nothing about who did it, we can be sure it was a male, that he lives in an ocean of inadequacy, and that he was radicalised by those who this morning believe themselves to have clean hands.  For the record, they do not.  The script on the lone lunatic has not changed in 100 years, to a man, radicalised.

It is a huge mercy that no one was physically harmed.  A decade on from similar attacks on Neil Lennon and his lawyer, the late Paul McBride, this could very easily have resulted in a loss of life.  Peter, you will never walk alone.

Lewis Ferguson is a decent enough player however if he can’t get into Scotland squads ahead of Fleck, McLean, Christie, is he what we need?

I don’t comment much on Res 12, simply because I do not have all the facts. I don’t doubt the intentions of those who, even at this late stage, are still pushing for redress. Auldheid is a prime example – I have respect for him and he has a encyclopedic catalogue of the facts…as he sees them.

    ===================

The facts that I see are all laid out at http://www.res12.uk

The archive was created over 2 years ago and has been updated as events unfold.

It is there and has been there for everyone to make of the facts as THEY see them.

No one has disputed what is there or the meaning put to them, disputes that would offer an alternative view that would change the facts as I see them.

So how about you and others spend the next couple of days reading the archive and let us know your interpretation of the facts.

In respect of the traumatic effect on PL as result of the fire bombing at his residence I would remind folk that as a result of my work on Res12 I was identified by the Dark side as someone to be taken care of and my details published on social media. I complained to the police and the material that put me at risk was removed , so I know the feeling about being under threat and it must be a lot worse when the threat actually materialises and I wish neither the threat or it happening on anyone.

However what is not on the archive because challenging principles is my game, not bad naming others for the sake of it, is a chain of e mails between myself and PL in June and July 2013 after Charlotte Fakeovers started to leak stuff, some of which referred to the UEFA Licensing process in 2011 that suggested dishonesty in the submissions by RFC. Having discussed the lack of professionalism with PL at a meeting in May 2013 where I was told a Dougie Dougie moment was required to bring about reform I contacted PL about the Charlotte Fakeover stuff relating to the UEFA Licensing in 2011 and was asked he be kept in the loop which I did.

However that material had no affect on Celtic’s response to Res12 that Canalamar instigated for the 2013 AGM (where Celtic thought it unnecessary having had assurances from SFA all was in order) although the material’s existence played a role in the adjournment of Res12 and subsequent involvement of the requisitioners, the consequence of which were personal threats from the Dark Side as a result of pursuing a cause they thought to be just and which Celtic were behind because of what was said at the May 2013 meeting.

However that is just the facts as I see them so why don’t you and others who are using another wrong as a reason a right should not be addressed make yourself aware of all the “facts” on http://www.res12.uk and come up with what they tell you?

you are spot on, the media will portray Patterson as a young superstar who’s now an

internationlist star worth more than alfredo, it’s how they try to help sevco. I can’t

remember the name of the French boy they sold to newcastle for 6 million or so

Souness, david murray and the players agent did very well out of the deal not one

    comment from the Scottih media

  5. Maybe not quite as iconic as Tommy Smith and John Carlos but every bit as great an athlete in Mexico 1968, breaking the World Record for the 400 metres, and first to run under 44 seconds (43.86) for the event, gold medalist for the individual 400m and for the 4x400m, also a WR, he not only gave the Black Power salute while receiving his medal, after been warned not to, he also did so wearing the classic black beret of those times. Special mention to Larry James (43.97) and Ron Freeman (44.41) in that great race, but the great loss to the USA, Africa and Athletics that is Lee Evans.

    RIP Lee
