PICTURE OF ANGUISH: LOAN CELT’S IMAGE

ON-LOAN Celtic midfielder Ewan Henderson had to endure 90 minutes on the substitute bench as Ross County collapsed to a 4-0 Premiership loss to Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox side in Dingwall in midweek.

While the champions were winning 2-0 against St Mirren at Parkhead to remain at the Premiership pinnacle, the youngster had to watch the Highlanders’ topple to defeat against the visitors from Govan.

ONLOOKER…Ewan Henderson doesn’t share Alfredo Morelos’ joy after his opening goal against Ross County.

Henderson, of course, couldn’t be included in the club’s squad for the visit to the home of the champions a fortnight ago when they were thrashed 6-0.

However, he got a close-up view of the action against his parent club’s Glasgow neighbours as County toiled in the Highlands.

A photograph in the Scotzine website caught the talented playmaker’s mood perfectly after Alfredo Morelos had opened the scoring.

He wasn’t exactly going to applaud the Colombian’s effort and it was just a pity he didn’t get the opportunity to rectify the situation, but he can always look to the future when he is due back at the eight-in-a-row champions.
