Last night when Neil Lennon told BBC Radio Scotland that Norwich’s second offer for Gary Hooper was “not as high as £6m” and that despite reports, the club had not tabled a fresh contract offer to the player, you would be forgiven for thinking the entire transfer saga was a product of fantasy.
Neil also confirmed Gary’s contract offer from Celtic is due to expire on 1 February, when I understand the player’s current representation deal also expires.
None of this counts where it really matters. Gary continues to perform like a player on top of this game. St Mirren next, then he can start the countdown to Juventus. Put the Italians in their place and he will attract attention from more than a plucky green and gold tribute act.
A corner of Glasgow stood still today to bid farewell to Sean Fallon. Sean’s 19 grandchildren delivered touching bidding prayers while son Sean recounted many of the times and habits which shaped his father’s life. I heard that call and the question would be why is there a 5 year rule before an associate becomes a full member?
I am assuming that it can only be on a probation basis for a new member and reconstruction does not change the reason. Unless of course the charade that The Rangers are Rangers is being cemented the new construction.

Good evening CQNers. I’ve never posted before, never intended to. I thoroughly enjoy the erudite and knowledgeable discussions about all things Celtic and beyond. I have tremendous admiration for many of the contributors on here, far too many to mention, good, kind, charitable people.
I don’t know many times I’ve logged on feeling down or troubled only to be reduced to tears of laughter or tears of sadness, empathy and realisaton my lot in life is better than i think at times.I must thank you one and all and thanks to Paul for providing such an amazing forum.
However, tonight I have been compelled to post because of the revulsion I feel as a result of two posts on the blog in the last 24 hours. Martin Luther King WAs and is an inspirational man through his actions and words, there is absolutely no dubiety about that but much more articulate posters said as much to that particular alter ego last night.
I don’t know South of Tunis, I thoroughly enjoy his posts and as far as I can tell, he seems like a good human being. Plus I’m half Italian so I love his up close and personal observations of the Sicilian way of life! Equally, I have the same sentiments about Kilbowie Kelt, also seem to be a decent and good man although I’ve no idea if has any good Tally blood flowing through his veins!
I’ve witnessed some disturbing and aggressive spats on here but I have never ever felt such anger and disgust in the three a bit years I,ve been lurking. I hope that individual apologises for those revolting posts but I doubt he has the capacity or the remorse, that takes humanity an

Tiny Tim. No I worked for General Accident and they and the Prudential got there fingers badly burned when the over paid for Estate Agency chains. They wrongly thought that there would be a good source of sales opportunities for there Life business.They did eventualy realise that it was a poor marriage and off loaded the Estate Agency side of the business at a great loss.Mike Rutherford a very clever man as G.A. found out to there cost or should I say the shareholders cost.They did learn from it though that to get a good lead source you dont have to buy the business just agree a partnership with them which they have done with many of the Regional Building societies.H.H.
