POLL: SHOULD CELTIC GIVE ABERDEEN MORE TICKETS?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

CELTIC have declined Aberdeen’s request for more tickets for their league fixture on March 1st.

The Dons sold out their full allocation of 1,800 tickets in less than 48 hours.

In an attempt to bring a larger support to Glasgow, Aberdeen today asked the Champions for additional tickets. Celtic however have refused the request.

Aberdeen cut the number of tickets Celtic fans received for their trip to Pittodrie in November from 3,500 to 2,000.

SPFL rules do not state any required minimum or maximum amount with regards to ticket allocation for visiting supporters.

Celtic Park can hold 60,000 and when Rangers used to visit prior to that club being liquidated, they would receive an allocation of around 7500 tickets for the match. Rangers would also supply a similar number of tickets for Celtic’s visit to Ibrox.

Aberdeen seemed happy enough to provide Celtic with a higher allocation in recent seasons as they struggled to sell out their matches.
