Loved the statement issued by the ‘3 Bears’ last night. They protest that their offer to Rangers International was superior to the offer from Sports Direct, which was accepted. What the sharp-eyed PR wizard didn’t figure when delivering the statement, though, is:
The board need 75% shareholder permission to dis-apply shareholder pre-emptive rights and create sufficient shares to allow the 3 Bears to fund their proposed share issue.
Support of the Easdale proxy block is needed to pass this dis-application.
Knowing they needed Easdale support, when the board asked if they would drop the EGM resolution to remove James Easdale from the board in order to make their proposal viable, the 3 Bears declined.
Consider the conversation:
A. “We’ll fund a share issue.”
B. “That needs Jimmy’s agreement. Will you drop your plans to sack him?”
A. “No. We’re still going to sack him.”
B. “Can’t do, Jimmy’s not going to vote for that.”
A. “It’s all your fault for not accepting our perfectly well thought-out proposal.”
It’s astonishing how shoddy an operation these clowns have. I know no one in the media will explain the reality to fans, nor will they believe anything they read here. When populist instigators for change have no viable plan, a club is deader than Rangers (mark I).

Murray and his bro were guests of mine at CP when we played Hibs. They turned up in jeans and were not allowed in board room.
We beat Hibs , then managed by Tony Mowbray a great game 3-2 but the fun of it was seeing the thrill for Murray when Celtic let him get into the Hibs changing room to chat with Big TM and the team after the game.

She was criticised a while back for using “suggestive” words and phrases to describe how she was putting a dish together.
Lovely so it was!

Proubhoy – lots of variables in ‘ decent time’ – unless you’re really good or a natural runner then it’s whatever you’ve pushed yourself hard to achieve.
Do the distance a few times, you’ll see the time come down fairly quickly until you get to a plateau at which point some people will recommend changing training methods to include speed work and/or hill work. That improves times on the longer runs too – it does work.
Just my tuppence – and fair play for the effort. Struggling to get past 5k at present myself – work, weather, age and laziness in various combinations!
According to SSB last night thems will play 5 in the midfield. Get in there Broonie!!!
Other team for Sunday . . .

My conversation wasn’t with you and your comment was both ridiculous and inaccurate.
Unfortunately you’re too entrenched in your views to engage!
Ellbhoy…,
I was only reminding people about human shied tactic and how the zionists deal with that.
I am far from entrenched, I do believe the holocaust was an abomination and a blight on the history of mankind.
I do not believe that gives the zionists the right to use the same tactics.
The only time I hear about an historical Israel it appears in Zionist propaganda, and books that have yet to be proven as factual. It was always Palestine, and the zionists are doing exactly what Hitler tried in trying to wipe out the Palestinians and remove them from history. Remembering I’m only going on the sources available to me.

I will read your source but may I respectfully suggest you read from all sides to form a balanced opinion.
Your blanket assertion stating as fact “the zionists are doing exactly what Hitler tried in trying to wipe out the Palestinians and remove them from history” Is deeply offensive.
Of course you will always find nutters on both sides but the vast majority of Zionists, Jews & Israelis are decent people who ultimately want to live in peace. You just have to look at the make up of its society to realise this. Unlike most Middle Eastern Countries if not all, every religion is represented and indeed encouraged to follow their God. Don’t get me wrong, I am not trying to paint a picture of a utopia but if as you suggest Zionists want rid of Palestinieans then Arab Israeli’s would not be citizens today.
With regards to their claim, there is no doubt Jews were present on the land and there is structural evidence of the first house of worship ever built in Jerusalem being a Synogogue.
However I am by no means learnared on religious texts or books, however this is all conjecture anyway. The fact is the land of Israel is recognised and it exists today. Yes it is known as “The Jewish State” but at no point in its history has it claimed to be exclusive.
Anyone who currently challenges it’s right to exist or begrudges the Jewish people a safe haven on land that is so geographically small and insignificant in terms of resources is in my “book” reprehensible.
Tom Courtney’s post re his Dad. I remember your Dad and was at his funeral. I was a founder member of the Garryowen along with several others, including my brother Jim. Don’t realise it was that long ago. KTF,
