Celtic and confirmed prime target Brendan Rodgers have lots to discuss, not least who will make it into his backroom team. Chris Davies was considered the power behind the throne when they were both I’m Glasgow before.
Chris was the technician, Brendan’s main sounding board and tactical resource. At 38, after 13 years as a Rodgers protégé, he will have options of a manager’s of his own. I respect Chris greatly but wonder if Brendan needs a fresh pair of eyes after do many years.

Good reading. Very measured post. Pretty much sums up my own feelings.
When BR left I was stunned and I called him every name under the sun.
But I don’t know the full story.
Then AP left though I had expected it after trophy day, I was disappointed but understand the move will set his family up for generations.
After AP was away I thought what are we going to do . Then Brendans name was mentioned among a raft of others, from day one he was the outstanding candidate. All was forgiven and I am desperate to get it over the line.
That the huns are terrified of brendan is a brucie bonus.

Kev made the mistake of swearing in one of his posts a couple of days ago.. It was a long post with a lot of valid points , but the swear word ensured its deletion.. No argument there it was a breach of the rules.

I was quite early in getting back on the brendan bus. My dislike for him after he left us subsided very quickly. Holding a grudge against the man responsible for my best days as a Celtic fan was not sustainable.
I think in Brendan we’ve improved our manager. I can’t wait to see him clean up next season. I’ve never been as confident facing into a new season as I am now.
Should I just tell???

I never got the email else I would have replied.
I get 00’s a day on all my platforms I have, I, or I should say the wife has set them up so that unknowns are automatically deleted, it saves time deleting them at a later date, sorry bout that, algorithms are a bugg*r at times.
The latest is parcels that I haven’t collected or been delivered, about 300 a day are sent to the trash, it makes a change from winning the lotto or inheriting a legacy I suppose.

Kev has made some really terrible Posts over the years, he has been red carded several times but is pretty expert at setting up new accounts & beating the rap.
I totally understand why he is instantly deleted as far as I know he receives the same treatment on the more lenient Sentinel Celts.

Rodgers can hopefully show himself to be a class manager and that is all that matters when appointing him. He left and we were pissed off. We were pissed off because he was very good. Folk not wanting him is all fair and well, only if we can get better, otherwise it is stupid and an act of self harm. I do wonder how many of those same folk could truthfully say they would not welcome back k.t, dembelle, VVD, eduard etc… if they were willing to come back and do thier best to help us improve!
