Agreeing on important topics, like wages, seems a straightforward business for some. You wonder if agreeing compensation is more of a challenge.

Celtic and confirmed prime target Brendan Rodgers have lots to discuss, not least who will make it into his backroom team.  Chris Davies was considered the power behind the throne when they were both I’m Glasgow before.

Chris was the technician, Brendan’s main sounding board and tactical resource. At 38, after 13 years as a Rodgers protégé, he will have options of a manager’s of his own.  I respect Chris greatly but wonder if Brendan needs a fresh pair of eyes after do many years.

    Sproston is a good bit away frae where they stayed.

     

     

    I had no idea Sproston wiz a place until I drove hame to Scotland frae Portsmouth (don’t do that unless you have to) I’m not a smoker.

     

     

    I’m hoping Reo especially, Kyogo and Daizen stay for a crack @ the CL.

    Rangers have signed Sam Lammers on a four-year contract after agreeing an undisclosed fee with Atalanta for the Dutch striker.

     

    The 26-year-old spent last season on loan at Empoli and Sampdoria in Serie A, scoring twice in a combined 34 appearances.

     

    He was an unused substitute when the Germans defeated Rangers in a penalty shoot-out in last year’s Europa League final.

    My friends in Celtic,

     

     

    While we wait for the white smoke.

     

     

    Interesting to read about the Beyonce affect in Sweden impacting on the economy.

     

     

    I know SFTB touched on this the other day saying possibly BRRB could have impacted Scotland’s economic fortunes.

     

     

    One thing is for sure, nobody tries harder. :)

     

     

    However on a more serious note , Beyonce played Sweden as the opening of her world tour.

     

    Perhaps we should highlight the Celtic effect on our economy. It will certainly be substantial.

     

     

    I was away when we won the league, but talking to many people the pubs, clubs and hotels were bursting at the seams. Huge queues at local supermarkets and off licences.

     

     

    But what did we hear, what was fed to the public was the disruption and some accidential damage with rubbish everywhere.

     

     

    Next morning the streets were spotless, with no lasting graffiti as what is usually the case for gatherings of tens of thousands of people.

     

    No mention of the mega boost to our hard hit economy.

     

     

    No doubt Celtic did impact the positive economic figures over the period. Did we give our hospitatily the boost to make a difference.

     

     

    We should be told, in fact we should make it our quest to educate the public. We should remind politicians of every persuasion the value we contribute to the greater society.

     

     

    We are more powerful than we think. Gentle reminders would do no harm.

     

     

    HH, today is the day when our journey continues.
