PSG IN 5-GOAL BLAST AGAINST TEN MEN METZ

1

CELTIC’S Champions League rivals Paris Saint-Germain prepared for Tuesday’s visit to Parkhead with a runaway 5-1 win over Metz.

Kylian Mbappe got his PSG career off to the perfect start by grabbing a debut goal.

Further strikes from £200million man Edison Cavani (2), Neymar and Lucas saw the French giants move back to the top of the Ligue 1 table.

PSG took the lead just after the half hour mark, when Cavani was played in by Neymar.

However, Metz debutant Emmanuel Riviere produced a surprise when he levelled with a header in the 37th minute.

The match turned in the 56th minute, when former Spurs defender Benoît Assou-Ekotto was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Mbappe.

PSG took full advantage when the ex-Monaco man grabbed his dream goal after drilling in a low shot only four minutes later.

Brazilian Neymar continued his great start to his Ligue 1 career by adding a third with a fabulous finish from 25 yards.

Cavani sealed his double with 15 minutes left on the clock, before substitute Lucas sealed an emphatic victory for Unai Emery’s men.
