Slovan Bratislava could be back, still under manager Vladimir Weiss, who presumably would be less bullish of his chances than before their Celtic Park capitulation last season. They are likely to have enough to eliminate Kazak champions Kairat.
We played Qarabag a decade ago in what turned into a tense second leg. A 0-0 draw in Azerbaijan was followed by a 1-0 win at Celtic Park, in the days when away goals still counted double. It was a long second half. The Azeris have done little to suggest they have progressed since, although a win should be expected against Macedonian champions, Shkëndija.

Being from Coatbridge, it is our duty to make a pilgrimage to Buckfast Abbey, near Torquay.

Tontine Tim I certainly recall seeing lannie advertised in old Celtic programmes or Celtic view in the past. My understanding is it was a really strong brand down toward Dunbartonshire and across Greenock side.
*back in the 60s/70s etc Wimpey had a plethora of work in the West Dunbartonshire area, Duntocher, Dalmuir, Clydebank, Dumbarton, Rhu, Roseneath, Finnart and the Vale of Leven including the Renton, they also had an abundance of employees of all trades and professions working there.
One of the attractions to the area was the local pubs, especially the Vale, which sold wine by the glass in the pubs, especially the Renton, at that time the top wine drinking town in the country was Greenock, second was the Renton lol.
The reason they came to that part of the country was they started out in the Inverclyde area and transferred to the various job sites, one of the foremen a had boat of his own and would sail across to Rhu charging the company for travelling time and mileage via the old Erskine Ferry, nae flies on him lol.

A Port Glasgow right of passage for me back in the 80s. my first drinking was LD and/or Merrdown cider.
It wasnt uncommon to not make the team for the youth club, and then spend the game with the other malcontent non starters drinking on the sidelines, and wondering why we didnt get picked.
Trays of poured gills were common place in all the pubs lining the 4 mile length of the lower clyde yards and engineering shops. And that was just at dinner time.
Every club in inverclyde carried the products.
The Shamrock would sell literally hundreds of gills before a game.
Port Juniors had them as a club sponsor just a few years ago when the product retunred.
And brinign it up to date ………… it is now Dragon Soup.

Every Celtic fans wants to sign players to instantly improve us.
I believe Brendan has vetoed every winger we’ve been linked with and that’s fine.
I believe we we will sign 2 or 3 forwards from elite clubs in the top 5 leagues later in the window.
When the question is asked amongst us…who should we sign then?…..the answer is understandably given as….not my job etc which, again, is fine.
So, with that in mind I’m going to say this …Andy Robertson is desperate to sign for Celtic right now.

He could easily play further forward or KT could move over or something else.
These guys would or will be warriors for us.
