RAITH TEST FOR JANKO

FORMER Manchester United right-back Saidy Janko will be in the Celtic development side against Raith Rovers tonight.
The Swiss Under-21 international, signed by Ronny Deila earlier this month, has already featured in the first team games against Real Sociedad in Paisley and Eibar in Spain.
Hoops boss Deila has decided not to take the 19-year-old to Iceland to give them the chance to help his match fitness with an outing against the Fifers in a match in which the home club will rename the main stand at Starks Park in honour of former chairman Turnbull Hutton.
Kieran Tierney and Jamie Lindsay will return to the development squad after featuring against Eibar with coach Stevie Frail looking forward to the clash.
He said: “We had a good test last week against Morton and we will get another tough game against Raith. It’s another step towards fitness for the new season and we know Raith will be ready for the match.
“They are a well established Championship side with good players and a good set-up, their season starts on Saturday and they’ll want to go into that on the back of a win.
“There will be a lot of demands made of the players and 90 minutes against a good Raith Rovers side will stand everyone in good stead for the season ahead.”
