They can call themselves whatever insolvency practitioners allow them to be called, but even the court assertion, that Charles Green bought a Basket of Assets, not a football club, seems overly optimistic. That lot look more like a Basket of Liabilities than assets.
I told you Joey Barton was a good Celtic man, there to take their money, and self-respect. Their big former Arsenal centre half is four years younger than our big former Arsenal centre half, but good grief! You could forgive him for being short of pace, but acting like an immature simpleton is unforgivable.
Moussa Dembele’s Perfect Hat-trick (one with the head, one with the right, one with the left), was a charm. We watched Henrik give us so much, he deserved to score a hat-trick against Oldco Rangers, but the history book was closed on that one with Harry Hood’s in the League Cup in 43 years ago.
I have witnesses to saying “We’ll have to settle for five instead of seven”, when hearing Leigh Griffiths would miss out today. Dembele (20), put in a performance which defied his inexperience. He looked like the £20m player some think we’ve signed. What’s more, he’ll continue to improve.
Tom Rogic had clearly been identified as our most dangerous creative player. He was hacked throughout, before retiring early in the second half. Scott Brown and Nir Bitton were also on top of their game, controlling the crucial central area.
Both full backs, Mikael Lustig and Kieran Tierney, got assists, as they created width to allow the central players to do their stuff.
Brendan Rodgers will hopefully highlight that the only two attempts on goal we conceded came a moment after we scored, near the end of each half. Teams notoriously lose concentration after scoring.
I’m off to find out who their no. 4 was. I’ve him down for two assists on his own. Liabilities, to a man – the keeper apart, who did well.

A pleasant inconvenience all the same, but you are not wrong.
When Sutton called out Garner for diving and putting himself about, he said that the guy had a reputation for that in England, but the refs had his card marked.
He also said that he had come up to Scotland and was trying it in there.

Ya fekn eejit…don’t be giving me pelters……..awe fek I’ll let you away with it :O)
Not that I agree with the policy, but it was a good job that Police Scotland reminded the players of their responsibilities and to go easy on Them.
Immature Simpletons are like a new singing
B-)
Sutty giving warburton some stick on 5live
Basket of love abilities! What a line. Love it.
The only small gripe I have today (apart from the scum trashing of our ground… they really cannae take it) is that by some statistical oddity a team (using the term loosely) that’s scraped two wins from five and have a negative goal difference are still sitting third in the league.
Anyhoo, a great time to be a Tim. The club has put the afterburners on after a period of malaise and bhoy are the feeling it.
Bravo and thank you to Brendan, Moussa and the whole team (and club) for today.

“I’m no expert but I think he was suffering from PTSS.”
Yes he was petrified thinking (of) Scott Sinclair

or Planning To Sidestep Scotland

I do wonder why some Celtic fans were getting so exercised about today’s game.
Maybe they like living in the past.

That was beyond ludicrous today. I’m still laughing at Davie Weir being sent off for being outraged at something nobody else saw.
Sorry I don’t have any information on the content of the Celtic match programme….
Some folks paid £50 to watch that spectacle today. My sides are hurting.
Cosgrove on RS. ‘Celtic pump Rangers 5-1’ any comments. ?
GORDON64
Just watched Warburton’s interview, the absolute denial that they were played off the park is astonishing, he tried to even suggested that at 4-1 they were still somehow passing the ball and in the game. He said twice we had one cross and boom we scored, it was their only cross in 90 mins and of course we one play 90 minutes at Celtic Park and not the regulation 100 mins they play, maybe they thought they had more time::))
He’s made a complete James Hunt of himself today and not for the first time, he’ll be gone by Christmas and let’s hope the huns do the right thing and bring back Ally and Kenny:)))

A sea of happy-hansom-hoops.
That was a most enjoyable afternoon spent in the company of two Clydebank lads* down in the Costa for a wee break in a great Celtic pub where the atmosphere was brilliant and post match smiles outshone the sun.
A day long to remember.
When I say lads the combined age was 192.
