They can call themselves whatever insolvency practitioners allow them to be called, but even the court assertion, that Charles Green bought a Basket of Assets, not a football club, seems overly optimistic. That lot look more like a Basket of Liabilities than assets.
I told you Joey Barton was a good Celtic man, there to take their money, and self-respect. Their big former Arsenal centre half is four years younger than our big former Arsenal centre half, but good grief! You could forgive him for being short of pace, but acting like an immature simpleton is unforgivable.
Moussa Dembele’s Perfect Hat-trick (one with the head, one with the right, one with the left), was a charm. We watched Henrik give us so much, he deserved to score a hat-trick against Oldco Rangers, but the history book was closed on that one with Harry Hood’s in the League Cup in 43 years ago.
I have witnesses to saying “We’ll have to settle for five instead of seven”, when hearing Leigh Griffiths would miss out today. Dembele (20), put in a performance which defied his inexperience. He looked like the £20m player some think we’ve signed. What’s more, he’ll continue to improve.
Tom Rogic had clearly been identified as our most dangerous creative player. He was hacked throughout, before retiring early in the second half. Scott Brown and Nir Bitton were also on top of their game, controlling the crucial central area.
Both full backs, Mikael Lustig and Kieran Tierney, got assists, as they created width to allow the central players to do their stuff.
Brendan Rodgers will hopefully highlight that the only two attempts on goal we conceded came a moment after we scored, near the end of each half. Teams notoriously lose concentration after scoring.
I’m off to find out who their no. 4 was. I’ve him down for two assists on his own. Liabilities, to a man – the keeper apart, who did well.

Apologies, Lustig wasn’t booked.
———
No apology necessary. Radio Clyde seemed to invent a booking for Lustig for “time wasting”. And I wondered whether it occurred before or after the foul.
But no booking has been reported anywhere else.
L5 re the toilets: someone had laid down another rangers shaped new jobby in there. The fans were eager to follow it (and it is definitely the same jobby – it was held in an incubator by a holding vehicle colon) and felt they were being punished. All fans would have done the same.
Lustig should have walked.
He really didn’t need to run. :-)
Hoopy Indeed it was magic. But whilst we were celebrating they have preserved their 54 titles.

I made the observation on fb that it’s notable the wash basins and mirrors weren’t touched…
Nye I did not attend CP today. Hh
I think that Ernie Lynch’s question about the match programme was perfectly reasonable to ask.
got to laugh at Ernesto getting more and more desperate for a bite, muppet :-)

Windass class player best player on the pitch today’
keep deluding yourselves, hearts will love it
Weir was just giving the pro Hun media something to talk about other than the utter humiliation him and warburton presided over. It’s an age-old Hun trick, he’s not got the street smarts of mccoist or the wisdom of the cardigan so he just ends up looking like a dick.
Just saw BR interview – BEST EVER especially regard Griff – dont disrespect!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!
If you watch the senderos sending off again you’ll notice the camera actually gets a little ahead of him as he ‘ran’ off. Even that was too fast for him.
BTW – Kiernan imo was not injured but did want off the park. Bottle completely gone. Watch that again too. Told my son when he went down holding his leg that he would signal to come off. Lo and behold….
Which one of the gers Blazers or coaching staff kicked the Hibs fan at the cup final? That’s been kinda buried has it not??
Magic,innit?
Yer jooooooost a wean, biggest game in yer life heading up.
Aw the troops tell ye what it’s like,it’s brickie time.
And ye score a hat-trick.
Aw,wow,oh ya beauty.
Did Barton sharton worbottons magic hat?
The new hun manager, like managers of the dead huns is a total prick. Like when he ran away after the Tony Stokes cup final, today he had not one thing to say about us play his troop of codgers off the park.
I for one cannot wait to see this miserable arsehole fail, fail and fail again. He,s turned into a proper hun in pretty short order.
Brilliant from Celtic today, just brilliant.
GORDON64
I know you didn’t and I know why mate,I respect your choice.
Scullybhoy – he’s been laying down the markers with the media monkeys since he came. Gaining more respect from players while doing it.
I said earlier he handles them with aplomb
Warbs is just a plum.
I thought it was funny so I’m shamelessly saying it again!!!

New video for Christmas?
Dembolition Derby.
I hope the devastation in the toilets is highlighted as much as the tynecastle door graffiti and the Motherwell seats.
What are the words again, King Billy’s army, we sent them homeward to think again.
Perfect day and I loved post match interviews with BR and Broony, brilliant
KINGLuBO
That warburton interview is very reassuring. He is determined not to learn.
John James is also on to his background ‘in the city’. Worth a look.
I think he’s the next scapegoat for the smsm. Tomorrow will tell a story.
Tommy Wright their new manager by Christmas or is he too clever?
Why didn’t R++++++ bring on Barton – wasted on the bench
Fantastic day.Every Celtic player rose to the occasion.Dembele is clearly a star and Sinclair movement is just excellent.Great atmosphere too.How great it is to have a manager who knows how to win big games. The future is bright and green and white
Gordon
Who says they keep their 54 titles? Them?
I think beyonce is my girlfriend.
My mate thinks his brother’s an apple.
Just laugh. Don’t let it upset you.
Nye Bevan Cheers mhate. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I had VP for company and some lovely macallan malt. Hh
Windass – did what of note today? He is able to run unopposed in straight lines. He can’t go past players. His passing matched the rest of his teams. A competent lower league player. No shame in that. But serious straw clutching going on.
£2.5 mill for Tavernier? Good grief
Didn’t watch the game, indeed only found out result at 3pm when talking on phone to Dena, but having just watched Warbiola’s interview it sounds like it was a lucky 5-1 win.
Not one word of praise for Celtic. He kept repeating “one cross …. goal” as if this was some sort of achievement and not an example of our domination of the game.
For the avoidance of doubt I stopped watching games against Rangers even before they died and wasn’t going to start watching their unholy offspring now. Always hated losing against the deady bears or any other team for that matter.
so mark actually might be a walter titty.
who would have thunk it.
Hoopy I know you won’t like this but you and every other Celtic fan who attended CP today. Hh
Wee Joey is finding it hard to tweet from Broonie’s back pocket.
When he climbs out he will wonder when the game is starting.
Just back in the brig after spending an afternoon in the tyre. For the holy willies on CQN surely you won’t be celebrating tonight as it was another game…… Away. An give me peace, sometimes CQN is up its own arse……….
Hail Hail
Scully – they could have taken him off, replaced him with no one and improved their presence in midfield. Guys on a jolly in Scotland. Big market for his upcoming book, self promotion as a pundit etc and on good wages. Also looks to me like he has a starting place in his contract. Excellent stuff
Great result.. They are p**h. Dave now has a knife in the piggy bank. Gullible f’wits….you deserve it.
Had 3-1 4-1
Anyway , BR knows when to change & he has players to let him do that.
In the SPL we have more potency than other team.
I can hear music….

That was a most enjoyable afternoon spent in the company of two Clydebank lads* down in the Costa for a wee break in a great Celtic pub where the atmosphere was brilliant and post match smiles outshone the sun.
A day long to remember.
When I say lads the combined age was 192.
______
That’s young……..
For a Sevco defence!
Owen 7.00pm
Why would you not watch Celtic ?
embdy got the br link?
