REO HATATE had a dream derby debut when he scored a first-half double in Celtic’s 3-0 victory at a bouncing Parkhead on February 2 2022.
It was a memorable evening in the east end of Glasgow for Ange Postecoglou’s side who hurtled to the Premiership pinnacle for the first time in 18 months.
And the Hoops remained in pole position when the title was won in the 1-1 draw with Dundee United at Tannadice on May 11 before the Flag Day celebrations in Paradise three days later when the curtain came down in spectacular fashion with a 6-0 romp against Motherwell.
The champions have a nine-point advantage as they prepare to take on Michael Beale’s side at Ibrox this afternoon.
