I saw woeful finishing after several good passages of play and build up, then not converting the chances.

Honestly Nye, I don’t think they have another gear. The problems we have are all of our own making. They are not good. They protect their defence well but when it doesn’t work they are exposed as bang average. They were lucky today but in equal measure we were dreadful up front.
Pass marks to Welsh, mo, despite his miss, Taylor for trying, and em, that is about it.
Plus side, we can give the young bhoys a run out, drop the loan players immediately, let the internationalist rest a bit because they have a long summer and the ones staying need to be fresh.

To be fair, I think he’s learned since that fist-pumping in front of the camera last season and become one of those “one game at a time” types that all coaches have to be if they want to win trophies.
Kennedy showed his inexperience with his comments last week. Hopefully, he’ll learn but not here.
