    Once again Celtic have been cheated by this refereeing establishment. Peter Lawell and celtic in general have let this develop for years and as usual we stand down and take it on the chin . Its and absolute and utter disgrace.

     

     

    Those referees are hand picked , groomed and all cut from the same cloth. WHY is there no Irish named or even foreign named referees from Scotland ? Its corrupt to the core and the blame is squarely on Celtics door!!

     

     

    I have no idea how good or bad my team is or the gap between us and them – the cheating skews the league table so much.

     

     

    Anyone think Eddie Howe is a string voice? We need a Roy Keane type to stand up for this great club who are way too passive.

     

     

    Time to roll the sleeves up and out them back in their place!

    In order for PL to continue at UEFA he first must have an official capacity at a football club. I would have thought that it would be in Celtic’s best interests to continue that involvement.

    A very sad bunch of individuals, thats what we have now at Parkhead, and we’ve all known that for a very long time. They were never going to trouble sevco, what we needed today was a team of full of self belief, talent and commitment, clearly we don’t have that now so the result was anything but a surprise. When they revise the list of ‘they embarrassed the hoops’, most of todays team deserve an honourable mention.

    As an aside, I’ve opined on the new CEO previously. I cannot imagine a more stuffy, establishment-type organisation than the SRU. To be the CEO must have required a tonne of brown-nosing and ‘going-along-to-get-along’. I have little confidence he’ll fight our corner any more than his predecessor.

    I think it may be fair to say that very few at Celtic Park/Lennoxtown/Barrowfield have met they’re targets, failure should not be rewarded, though I’d expect PL still to pick up his bonus

     

     

    On Dom McKay surely his task at SRU was to bring it to the masses, surely addressing that is something to be slightly optimistic but as Ernie says it’s DD that calls the tune

    Watching the scenes from Old Trafford, so many of the supporters were wearing green and gold scarves. I think I remember Man U playing in those coloured jerseys. Would they be their original colours? Warmed me a wee bit on this painful evening.

    The moaners who were complaining when the team was sweeping all before it aint seen nuttin yet with the bleak future that could be in store. all i can say that if it is Eddie Howe the pressure on him will be extreme particularly with the reputation he seems to have in the game? which remains to be seen. Kent again ran us ragged playing ducks and drakes with our defence not heard of any predators looking at their players although they do seem to have a lot of elderly guys in their ranks.

    We WERE cheated. After playing advantage the referee cannot award a yellow card when a goal is scored, unless the foul denies a clear goal-scoring opportunity.

    The whole atmosphere around the club stinks.

     

    DD / the Irish Raj / the absentee landlord — thinking he owns the place on a 37% shareholding.

     

    His sense of entitlement is made all the worse / possible because we don’t call him out.

     

     

    Get the manager right and we have a chance.

     

    A chance of good football / organic growth / EU football victories after Christmas.

     

     

    However the main issue is that we the support need to lose our sense of entitlement.

     

    The scourge of the Green Hun has crippled us over the past three years.

     

    If that viewpoint can be banished then maybe the board will get the message that quicker / louder / clearer.

    Watched the BBC rerun of the Scottish Cup final Centenary 2-1 win against Dundee United,

     

     

    McNight, Morris, Rogan, McArthy, Whyte, Aitken, McStay, Burns, McAvennie, Miller and Walker, managed of course by there’s only one King Billy. Now that was a Celtic Team you could be proud of.

     

     

    Then you watch todays lot….

    I just read this comment elsewhere re. the cancelled Man U/Liverpool game ‘… footballers are millionaires managed by millionaires owned by billionaires, they could not be any more disconnected from regular people and this has been the case for a long time’.

    In terms of actual outcomes, nowhere near the worst season in our history.

     

     

    That said, in terms of the gap between pre-season expectation and end of season reality?

     

     

    Probably one of the worst.

     

     

    Almost surreal.

    We’ve had at least three months to get games into Ajeti, Barkas, Mickey Johnson, Griff and Soro given the league was done.

     

     

    Kennedy has done absolutely nothing to prepare this side for next season. He’s stuck to playing guys who will be out the door in two weeks.

     

     

    He should join them.

    Listening to Neville Caragher Souness on the failed Super league plan , I wonder if they are so merit orientated that they call out the Champions League which is won often by non champions, surely that offends them, never heard any of them say a word against that cartel.

     

    What the Super League plan did not do was consult with the supporters of the clubs concerned, that lesson will have been learned and if football is left in the hands of plc’s a Super league will happen, debt ridden clubs in Spain including Barcelona Real Madrid are desperate for new money as they are struggling under debt, likewise Tottenham build this new stadium but with a plan of use which has been obliterated by Covid restrictions, debt is at the root of this, that and corporate greed.

    At my caravan this weekend, at FT the Huns down at the tents went into song. After about 15 minutes the Celtic fans had enough and belted out.

     

     

    I’m a good few tiers up the hill but one bhoy could see me looking down with my Celtic top on and makes a gesture of plumping his hand to his heart. Bless him👏
