  1. I’m really enjoying this as a game of football. It’s so open.

We’ve not created too many chances but we’re looking fairly comfortable and the defence is looking solid.

More needed from Abada – who is causing them trouble when running at them, and Christie – who has been fairly anonymous.

Confident that Ange will sort whatever isn’t working and we can find a cutting edge second half .

  3. Good display overall by the Bhoys first half. We’ve got into good positions going forward but apart from Eddy missing a tap in, we’ve not troubled their goal. Would like to see Kyogo and Abada get more time on the ball. The new Bhoy has looked a little lost – Monty will probably get a run after 60 mins. Also Christie could be doing more. Defensively very solid – Welsh and Ralston both excellent.

Celtic are playing the better football in this game. If we get one, there’s more goals in this for us.

  4. I think most folk commenting are watching an entirely different game than me. We’re miles ahead of them, just need to make the final pass better and this is in the bag, por cierto

  5. Agree that Cal, Tony, Josip and Carl have looked up for it (esp Tony’s Kentish clattering).

I guess I’m frustrated cos I feel we’re playing at a fraction of our Ange-inspired capability. Good to see some of your perspectives too.

Hope we’re up for the 2nd half

  6. Whatever happens, we’re night and day from last season. Sevco probably aren’t as good either. This game is massively winnable.

Might be worth switching Eddie and Kyogo around…we’ve nothing through the middle.

Lack of options on the bench is a concern.

It’s coming, Patience is a Virtue.

  8. My big Leeds mate summed it up as a 100% neutral – Celtic look miles more creative but the buns look more likely to score

  9. Malmö twice and Dundee Utd won it in the second half against them. We given ourselves a platform here, let’s test their keeper frequently in this half. He’s had very little to do so far.

    My thoughts exactly.

Abada is a wee bit light and inexperienced, but trying hard.

We need to get the ball in quicker to the forwards.

Christie best showing has been on the left of midfield. Would play him there.

We badly need to score. They can be dangerous on the break and by diving

  11. The only threat from them is coming from our poor slack passing…..We need big Tom’s cultured feet I would replace Turnbull or RC with him ….and possibly Ajeti for the Big French waster…

  12. Not enough tempo in the game, need to up it in the 2nd half. Get Kyogo into the middle with Christie behind and bring Abada into the game.

  13. We have risen above the poisonous atmosphere.

A wee bit more precision in front of goal and we will win.

  14. DIfferrent perceptions ideed: new bhoy doing well, calm and composed; Starfeld excellent as are Tony Ralston and Welsh. Mc Gregor way ahead of anyone else in midfield; Christie plenty of energy, which is lacking in Turnbull; wingers not getting much joy especially Abada as rangers full backs keeping close and playing well; apart from the sitter he missed Eddie not really at the races – maybe his mind is elsewhere.
