    Huns brought us down to their level and aided as usual by officialdom, has any VAR decision gone against them ? Even if you discount cheating (we know we’re being cheated ) probability would determine that some should.

     

     

    I wish all Celtic supporters nothing but a great and healthy year to you all.

     

     

    Thankfully some on here are restricted to posting and not involved in what Celtic do. And that includes me.

    IMO Beaton had an excellent game, the Goldson handball is 100% on Collum, as i said when he was handpicked for VAR, a compliant shitebag,who doesn’t want banned from the huns again, as most of all,it costs him money

    Since VAR was introduced can anyone recall a SINGLE instance of a Scottish ref either

     

     

    – chatting to VAR thru the mic OR

     

    – going over to the monitor

     

     

    Then giving a decision against Sevco?

    Great goal by high press king Daizen Maeda set Celtic away on the pursuit of an away win that would have all but won the league. Instead Sevco without a good striker or two, dragged Celtic down into into a blocking game. Joe Hart’s too long delayed clearance ironically led to his finger tip save of the match.

     

     

    We’ve seen the Ange game of keep ball end with different results, and despite still having 60 per cent first half possession Celtic didn’t score again before the break, when we should have.

     

     

    Sleepy marking caused a training ground goal for Sevco, and the stage was set for John Beaton’s inevitable Tav Pen where Scotland’s top whistler was seen to mouth “ VAR – what for, – it’s a penalty “ Lip readers TV saw him later mouth – “ it’s no a penalty “ when it was Celtic’s turn.

     

     

    Celtic hung in, and eventually got a richly deserved equaliser through Kyogo’s insistence and smart subbing by Ange. Hatate was outstanding till he was withdrawn, the loss of Greg Taylor caused an unwanted change as Ange had already said Juranovic wasn’t 100%. and at left back, it showed. O’Riley weighed in with a great shift on the right where there isn’t another ninety minute man option. Callum held firm and played the captain’s role of fire fighting all over the boggy pitch for 97 minutes.

     

     

    Celtic started on top, and finished on top and the only explanation you will find, is from when Ange has been around.

    You are all being unfair on Collum. No way would he give a var decision against the huns, they would ban him for the rest of the season against them. Remember they have done this before…..

    Celtic were off their game today…indeed.

     

     

    VAR is worse than we imagined it would be….definitely.

     

     

    But…calling our players a ‘disgrace’, ‘heartless’, etc…..give yourselves a shake.

     

     

    Putting comments like this out during the game just leads (or should lead) to the writer’s embarrassment.

    We were poor by our usual standards today but wee Wullie did more than anyone in blue to deprive us of 3 points with that utterly disgraceful Tavernier handball decision .

     

    Thankfully Kyogo thwarted both him and the huns .

    Still room to improve. A top team would have scored another in the first half hour and killed them dead.

    I thought their penalty was more or less correct – we’d have been shouting for it had it been us.

     

     

    As for the handball, I don’t mind too much as I’m pretty sure that we’d have missed the kick.

     

     

    Our record in taking ‘clutch’ penalties is awafu;.

    Huns will not be able to sustain that effort week in week out. Josip very much out of sorts today caused us major problems… he’ll be back to his best in the next in a week or 2 …. Or there is a deal lined up and he’s offski…

     

     

    We tried to be too clever in midfield today and ended up causing our own problems…. We need a sustained improvement in performance over the next 5 months and signs that our back line can be a lot tighter , to hold out in Europe….. sound’s churlish given our points total

    The Workrate and GENIUS awareness of this dude mean’t Ange was always going to Substitute him, nearer and nearer to the end and thats been happening.

     

     

    Callum is awesome but Wow what Reo brings to this Celtic team. :) He goes by players like they urnae even there.

     

     

    These Japanese Bhoys have insane workrate compared to anyone in Scotland thats for sure.

     

     

    He was easily MOTM for me.

     

     

    He was Always there for a pass wherever that may be.

    A draw against the second best team in the league , on their home turf , in front of a crowd almost entirely composed of home fans , is a good result when you’re 9 points and a million goals ahead .

     

     

    I accept we were well below our best today but going by some of the reactions on here you’d think we were chasing a 9 point deficit .

    He demonstrably cheated today, the evidence is there, the hun protecting his face with both hands!

     

     

    Our club should be making sure that he is finished.

     

    I doubt they will though, love of the bigot pound will stop them

     

     

    Could someone explain to me please why pulling out of a tackle and having your foot stood on results in a penalty against you?

    On reflection the injury to Greg Taylor can’t be underestimated in terms of how it i’m-acted the game – both Hun goals came from poor play by his replacement, who was, er, poor all game.

     

     

    Question is, was he poor because:

     

     

    1. He was out of position;

     

    2. Unwell; or

     

    3. Couldn’t be bothered because he’s offski?

     

     

    If I heard correctly, Greg has injured his hamstring, so Bernabei better get up to speed quickly. Mind you, did Hatate play left back for Japan?

    Sometimes I wonder what folks expect, going by some of the comments, the expectations are that we should be winning the CL just by turning up, the entitlement is astonishing.

    We were rotten today & got a deserved draw, they failed miserably needing the points.

     

    I agree with all the guys on here today , but Starfelt & Hart need a talking too.

     

    I am happy with the result but the Huns will see this as a defeat.

    Anyone who thinks we would have won that game if it had been appropriately officiated needs to ask WTF our club are doing about this.

     

     

    The alleged dealing with things discreetly professionally and behind closed doors is utter bollocks.

     

     

    Who was it that said the definition of insanity is repeatedly doing the same thing again and again expecting different results!

    I decided against going for some Beers after the game.

     

    However, I may feel differently tomorrow ?

     

    I had SHANKLAND of Hertz for 1st Goal Score at odds of 9/2.

     

    I ALSO had Shankland to score AT LEAST TWO Goals at odds of 13/2…on Two separate lines.

     

    I am also waiting on MO SALAH Scoring 1st v Brentford at 5.30 game, and I also have Salah to score at least Twice in the same game.

     

     

    Time and luck will tell ?
