I never get a clear view of tactics and team layout from watching TV but Brendan must have done something to prepare this team for the challenge because we handled them well without too many players producing exceptional performances.
Special mentions to big Joe and big Liam – gutsy carrying of that defence.

Real gutsy performance from a makeshift team. Calmac and Hart both brilliant. If we can beat them with the back 4 who finished the game the league is over. Surprised by Var. we don’t normally get those.
A remarkable win. Given the team selection I was worried but it should be clear to us all the manager knows things about the players that we don’t. He gets paid to make big decisions but he has to be brave too. Well done everyone in the G&W.
