I thought Scales, Daezen, MOR and Cal Mac were excellent.
AJ was outstanding until he had to go off. Gave nothing away.
Some hairy moments.

Even with our makeshift defence we’re too good for them.
He was offside and it was a foul nothing marginal or undeserved about it.
unbelievable – despite having a makeshift defence , Johnson going off , both LB having a nightmare – we bossed the first half and hung in the second.
I thought we would get hammered today – but Rodgers said “I’ll show them how to win” and somehow, SOMEHOW – he did!!

Absolutely immense result. Had we been clinical that could have been an absolute mauling. Not getting the second and third brings more pressure on and keeps the game edgy but that was a thoroughly mature, confident performance and I’m going to give Brendan Rodgers massive credit for putting that team on that park looking cool, calm and collected.
Bones can be picked but that was tremendous stuff.

Calmac got some space and bossed the game – especially first half.

For all their pressure in the 2nd half, we had some great chances on the break. Thought MoR had a good game. Scales was solid, Lager less so.
Up front Maeda justified his selection with a duracell bunny super charged performance. Kyogo world class finish to make up for earlier misses.

To somehow get a result after our last two results and with the back 4 that ended that game means that ranks as one of our best results there in a long time.

Feel very foolish for pregame rant, I am absolutely thrilled with that, I’m delighted for the manager, what a result, hope that’s everyone on the same page now and we can really push on now when we get the walking wounded back
